...this whole war that has started because of the merger.....am I the only one who welcomes NEW fresh ideas and different points of view? What if....they never said we were merging and everyone from OR.com just signed up and never mentioned it? How different would it be? I have been posting here for about 4 months......and I never thought I would see the day when we wouldn't welcome fellow Neo Brothers and Sister to talk about Neo. I think this change is for the better since now there will be more people on the boards posting.....I welcome them and I think many good things will come out of this once everyone takes a step back, take a deep breath, and give everyone a chance........just my thoughts.....

Yeah, I've posted like 6 or so things talking about how cool it will be for new content and new topics, but alas, there are a lot of young'ens that just won't let up (not years, but upstairs). Just when it begins to cool off, some doofus reads and old post (meaning two days ago) and gets all fired up again.

I am on your side also, I have posted numerous times to welcome one and all. There is a group of people that got off to a bad start and that is where the flamming began, others joined in and the fire grew out of control. It does seem to be dieing down now though.

But being kicked out of the server due the high trafic wasn't something easy. I know that we're kinda invading you and we have differents points of view about some things, but what the hell, we're SNK fans (maybe not SNK-fascist, but we're fans also). All of us could show a bit of patience....

I agree with djbomberman... I think the influx of new people is a great thing. I don't know what bad blood there is over things that have happened in the past, but I haven't seen anyone do anything that warrants a war. Everyone needs to lighten up and realize when someone is just joking and having fun. If we all weren't big enough nerds for spending hundreds of dollars on a ten year old video game system, it's even worse that when we're not playing video games, we're fighting in a chat room about video games. Everyone here needs to calm down, go outside, drink a beer and tan that pasty white skin. Including myself. Off to the beach!

Actually, Gunsmith is one of the best administrators i know. (and i've been in lotst of boards)

Maybe the War room incidents were somehow misunderstanded. When becames to flames and joking, he's the first. ^_^

But when it's about moderating, is more serious that you can see in their posts. Historically, he never take drastic banning not deleting, actually he always prefer to make a poll about the tricky themes.

Guys, I think he was F'ing around in the War Room. It's like playing a role. I think folks just took it WAY to seriously. It's fun to flame, and the War Room is the place for it. I would think, in most cases, it's just screwing around. Take it literally if you will, but that would seem to be counter productive.

Some new things will probabely be added but that's a good thing. There will be some more attention for the gameplay of N-G games, wich is good. Great games like kof, FF and LB just don't deserve to be put in one single forum, they deserve their own forums.

Gun had a bad start but I can assure you that he is well worthy of being a mod. Besides it just wouldn't be the same if Gunsmith wasn't a mod, ON people would have a hard time trying to fit in (yes even harder than now)

Ok one little incident of someone linking to some pirate site, don't draw your conclusions too early. Also the fact that most of us play emu games doesn't mean we don't play Arcade, Dreamcast, Saturn or any other system with SNK games. And liking certain Capcom games isn't a bad thing. I didn't know that was taboo around here?

This "enemie" has done more for the Neogeo scene than anyone here. If you're interested in KOF you might have visited a site called "gamefaqs". You might even have looked up KOF in the search thing. I'm supprised that none of you know Gunsmith, it only shows that we are the gameplayers and you are the game collectors.
