Fran: Nobody is asking you to kiss anyone's ass or anything. Nor do I believe Shawn is banning you. Gunsmith's first post was originally meant for the old ON members to post to see who was present.

Gunsmith is a long-time KOF lover. He used to be a webmaster of an old site up for KOF. It was only in 2000 then his board started to get popular. Then we got www.orochinagi.com , a KOF fansite with lots of cool stuff. As Gunsmith's server used to break down a couple of times, we would go to www.wu-tech.net as there was an old emergency board there. Once there, we would "roll call", to see if anybody was still around. It's tradition, but I guess most Neo-Geo members misunderstood the message and thought of it as a new strict disciplinary officer giving out commands.

Since Gunsmith was the webmaster of www.orochinagi.com and it was merging with www.neo-geo.com, it's only natural that he became administrator. But since some of the posters had never heard of him, they became wary as how could a new poster suddenly pop up and become an administrator without any announcement or anything? Granted Shawn should have announce something to the old Neo-Geo members. Gunsmith too. Us old ON members were pretty surprised by this move.

Hope this clear things up and everyone stay happy this time.

Your right, it did happen all of a sudden. There was very little notice and we werent prepared for this. I think that maybe there should have been some discussion with us previous to the merging at least to hear the game plan. But it was just thrown on us and that pissed a lot of us off, including me. I'm pretty much over it now, but I think it should have been handeled a lot differently.

Shawn, you pay for this site so you can do as you please, I'm not one to tell you how to run things. But I would think that it was obvious that this would happen, and with a little more notice, a lot of this bull shit could have been avoided. I don't know, I'm willing to stick it out. Hopefully everything will work itself out and we can get back to normal.

I believe that the merger between ON and NG was too sudden until it made both members wary of each other. So perhaps both members of each board misunderstood each other.

I think there's a really good topic by A_Sombra which tries to examine the different policies of both boards. I've tried my best to explain my part. Check it out here and let us know what you guys think.

It looks as though it has either had one too many adjustments made on it, or they had an amateur airbrush artist touch up the photo.

That pic has been retouched & color corrected at some point. Whoever did it looks like they have bout 4-5 years experience in my estimate.

If they were a journeyman worker they woulda not screwed the pooch on that upper lip & her hair so bad.

Notice the right side/edge of her face in the
middle to bottom half becomes kind fuzzy.
That a tail tail sign of too soft an airbrush.

The only reason I realised it is because growing up my best friend's father was an airbrush artist, and used to do that stuff all the time. It was interesting to see the way he could change a picture. He taught my friend and my friend's sister how to use airbrushes from age ten on up, they are shockingly good now.
