Hi all,
I'm knew to the whole Neo-Geo scene,
I got into it, by playing roms on the neo-ragex, and now I want to buy a neo-geo and I was just wondering where is a good place to get them in Europe?

I got one off Ebay, you could always try the Neo Store, or the selling forum. There's a few places in the UK for hardware / carts :

also www.cex.co.uk for home carts

But beware it's a dead expensive pastime mate

Buy an MVS, or a Neo Geo One Slot and an arcade cab, with a couple of top games, and still have change from what an AES would cost you!!!!!

I know MVS is much cheaper, but it'd be big and hard to find, it'd be a bit out of my water, I am only after all new to the scene.

Just get a supergun and a 1 slot than you will seriously save in the long run. Make sure that you get s-video though. You can buy like 10 good MVS games for the price one new AES and you get that real arcade feel!

If you are looking to save a little money then like Shapermc said you can go with a supergun, or you could also buy a home system and an !Arcade! converted to play MVS games. Either way MVS is the way to go if you are looking to save some money.

___what about converts for the standard home cart machine?___

You can find them on ebay for like $350 they are !arcade! phantom-1 mvs to aes converters.
