NUWAVE DEBUTS WORLD'S FIRST VIDEO GAME ENHANCER DESTINED TO REVOLUTIONIZE THE VIDEO GAME CONSOLE INDUSTRY---A MUST SEE AT E3
- Visual Enhancement Breakthrough for all Video Game Consoles -
Los Angeles, CA-May 17, 2001-- NUWAVE Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: WAVE), a developer of leading edge digital and analog image enhancement technologies, today launches their highly anticipated Video Game Enhancer (VGE) at the E3 Expo, in Los Angeles. The VGE is a revolutionary video console accessory that clearly improves the video display of Video Games and DVD movies, enabling gamers to play with an unprecedented visual advantage.
NUWAVE will be marketing the VGE through a nationwide network of leading distributors and dealers and is demonstrating the VGE at booth #7018, at E3. The VGE will be available during June at major retail stores including: Electronics Boutique and J & R Music World, at a retail price of only $39.95. This initial retail launch strategically exposes the VGE to a large-scale nationwide retail rollout with a potential of over 15,000 retail stores. The VGE will be marketed globally, since it is compatible with NTSC, PAL, PAL-M, PAL-N, and SEACAM---the worldwide video standards.
"Its not often that a product like the VGE comes to market. We believe this new video display enhancement product will revolutionize the video game industry. There is no comparable device in the video game industry that can enhance the video display of current and next generation video game consoles and improve gameplay---giving the gamer a competitive edge and a real winning advantage," according to Jerry Zarin, CEO of NUWAVE.
The VGE is expected to take the video game industry by storm. It transforms dark and blurry TV images that can obscure obvious bonus points or sinister death traps. The game's video display is uniquely upgraded by the VGE to heighten the brightness, clarity, and color of game images, which visually improves the game, as viewed on a consumer's TV.
By using the VGE, gamers can personalize the appearance of video games on their TV. The VGE, designed for all popular video game consoles including Sony PlayStation and PlayStation 2, Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Game Cube, SEGA Saturn, and others, easily hooks up to a gamer's video console and television via standard RCA cables and jacks. The VGE's sleek black design compliments the popular game platforms.
In addition to featuring two video game settings, one for older 64 bit consoles and one for the newer 128 bit consoles, the VGE enhances DVD movies, too, since many newer video game consoles enable the viewing of DVD movies. The video fine tuning adjustment, allows the user to achieve the ultimate DVD movie image, on their existing TV. Its compact design (approximately 2" x 5" x 7") is designed to fit snuggly in a consumer's entertainment center.
NUWAVE will present live demonstrations of the VGE at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles, CA on May 17-19, from 10 AM - 6 PM, in Kentia Hall booth #7018. Press demonstrations can be arranged throughout the show from, upon request. For more information about NUWAVE while attending E3, please contact Sky Fillippi who will be at the Expo and can be reached at (646) 221-5811 or NUWAVE's main office.
