SVC:C Possibly dumped

Great just days after Matrimelee was released Snk Vs. Capcom is now dumped and being released slowly.

Part of me hopes that this is a fake and the other part of me wants this rom extremley bad because I cant afford the asking price and noone around here will have it since I have no arcades near.

From what I heard, only a few graphics roms have surfaced and they seem to be fake. I don't know for sure, just going off what someone told me... I wouldn't get too pissed off just yet.

Playmore <strong>should</strong> get fuckin ripped off for this.

Why?

1. Encryption routine probably hasn't been changed. Lazy. You know releases get dumped quick and you STILL haven't done anything about it.

2. Your BIGGEST release EVER goes on beta test and you can't watch the cart to make sure nobody dissapears with it for a little while? (assuming it hasn't shipped yet)

3. If that didn't happen, it was an in-house programmer who did it. Hire competent and trustable staff.

4. You haven't found the fuckers who do this yet.

Yeah, because once they're done.. they're easy to burn onto a rom, hack or make a new board and then sell it.

This means, there's already boots being made.. as we speak.

Edit:

With the rumor of new "chips" being used for it though, it may deter the booting.. if not for the sake of actually getting the chips, then for the lack of knowledge and supplier of the chips. (although, it's printed on the chip anyways)

Also, the graphics may have been un-encrypted, but the program ROMS may have not. That could mean that the graphics are out and they can view them.. but getting the Program ROMS out.. that could be a different story entirely.

While I don't particularly like the subject matter (and believe the person who started the thread doesn't like it either), this is a relevant topic. It wasn't posted to be "procative" like other Rom-dump related posts have been before.

I think this would be served better in News and Rumors. At the same time, if another mod has a serious problem with this thread, I'm not opposed to them closing it.

you'll see that that screen is fake

the real title screen is a little different

at least i see this from the vids..

maybe someone can confirm what i say.

Actually it is, which is rather frightening.

As far as the ROMZ being out now, there would be two ways to look at it:

1.) It is the most evil thing that they could have done to a good company trying to get back on its feet.

2.) Whoever managed to actually pull this off this quickly is either a god or is extremely well connected and probably shouldn't be.

Despite my pro-MAME sentiment, this is actually pretty damn wrong... oh_no

I was there but, we didn't see much of the title screen. However this does look very familiar! whenever the game was starting up we pressed start alot to start up the game and keep the line moving along.

and the fonts used are different

KoF 2001 was actually dumped and bootlegged rather quickly. This was a major problem I had with the emu community.

Some short dicked virgin boys in China have nothing better to do than try to bootleg products. No originality in 200 years. Steal from the US weapons program, steal from Italian clothing makers, steal from Japanese game companies.

If Bush wanted to make a difference in the world, he'd get his posse together and head to China to fuck shit up.
