there was a write up on the game in famitsu today with pics....

backgrounds look quite nice from what i could see.. sorta have this hazy effect like distance blurring or something, they didnt really look 3-d from the pics....

there is some new mode called strategic order or something.. i didnt bother to read much about it but they were going on about the tactics involved in choosing a team of 1 vs 4 and the order, etc.

that is about all that is new it would seem...

If they keep the Gameplay as-is and just correct the backgrounds and improve the music, they "MIGHT" have a better game than the original version.

I like the cover art actually. Though the only reason it is 2k1 art is because of K9999 way in the back. The backrounds don't look much different but it's hard to tell with those pics.

judging by the screenshots, seems the in-game portrait in the PS2 version (the one's next to the lifebars) uses official art.
