KOF 2000 for PS2 (Cover and a few pics.)

Notice a few new things such as mr big and brian battler as strikers.They are not found in the DC or neo versions.Oh, and the cover art is kind of bad...

Well the cover is not so nice like the one
of the DC.I wonder if the gameplay is good on
the PS2?I never played a 2D Game on PS2 if it is
so worst like on the PS than it will be a nighmare

GGX is better on PS2. CvS 2 is exactly the same on PS2

Yeah I have M vs. C 2 for PS2 and it's EXACTLY like the DC version...no friggen extras <img src="graemlins/angry.gif" border="0" alt="[Angry]" />

But I really like the cover art for the PS2 version...but that's just me :rolleyes:

How about SNK's logo since they made the fucking game in the first place? I mean they added a few strikers. PFFT they just ripped them from previous games.

true snk did make the game, snk did not port it and playmore has the rights to the game so they can do what they want. they could rerelease leauge bowling for ps2 or somethin and have it say playmore all over it

I could care less about the cover.Its the gameplay that i care about.
I hope the PS2 version does not have the slowdown present in the DC version's aquarium stage.Hopefully playmore would take care of this minor problem.Sometimes when i play my friends in the team VS. mode for DC version, we won't select that aquarium stage for obvious reasons.

I already have the DC version, so I don't care about this particular title, but I hope somebody decides to distribute future Playmore releases here in the US. PS2 is not exactly import friendly.

I kind of like the cover, not as cool as the DC's but still nice.

The SNK Logo...or the Playmore logo...its all the same to me. I get more bent out of shape when I see that damn Atari logo on infograme games. At least people at Playmore used to work at SNK. Infogrames are just a bunch of french guys with a lot of government cash.

The cover is decent but it doesn't do a whole heck of a lot for me. When I see it I don't see King of Fighters. When I think of KOF, I think of Kyo. It's very much like when I think of Fatal Fury I conjure up Terry, Ryo for Art of Fighting, and good ole Ryu for Street Fighter. K' may be cool but I guess my brain is stuck at '98

I've been meaning to ask this for a while now and this seems like a good time. Does Playmore actually program any games anymore or is it all done by studios like Eolith, Evoga, Noise Factory, etc.? I had been assuming that they did not and only held the licenses to the characters/games.

I removed the KoF 2000 logo from the desktop version of that image (which I'm currently using) and it's even better.

True. If the DC version had slowdowns (I never played it) I hope they omit it out of the PS2 version and I hope the gameplay is g d.

Thats's a pretty bad cover. It could have been worse, I know, but it's below the standards that SNK set years ago.

That art is just...bleh. K' looks like Anakin from Ep2 to me. Kula's hair looks like it was laquered or something. Strange days, these are.

Wasabi was right. K' has a penis on his chest. An imprint? Probably.
