Marvel vs. Capcom 2 on X-Box to go LIVE!!

Yeah, I know, many of you don't like this game, but I think it's great Capcom is finally bringing this title out for X-Box. The best news is that it will support head to head competition over the internet.

I just hope it has broadband support (which it has to, given the amount of action on screen).

No confirmed release date on the X-Box version, but it looks like December is a possibility, January/February being more reaslitic.

For PS2 fans, the game will be out in November, but with no internet capabilities. Forces me to buy an X-Box. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

IT's a great game!!! only not as single player theres no skill in it (piss easy) but as an after pub brawley with all your mates it's fantastic!!!!

I'm glad Capcom is taking online gaming seriously in the US. I'll be sure to pick up its launch title, Capcom vs. SNK 2, and Marvel vs. Capcom 2. ^_^

I guess I'll have to wait several more months until I can purchase Neo Geo AES System. =\

I think X-Box's Live stuff is awesome. Such a shame PS2 isn't following suit.

I think Xbox Live will be the Second best thing that happened to gaming history. O and as far as your challenge is concerned.... BRING IT!!! ;)

I never thought I would ever pick up MvsC2 again, it's a fun game and all but I expected more from Capcom.

That doesn't mean I'm going to miss the chance to kick some ass online, looks like I'll have to add this and CvsS2 to my daily gaming diet.

i wish there was broadband in my area.
even though i never got into c v S2 it still
would be cool to play it online.
i was totally hoping that they would make kof online
playable or even sfa3 like in japan.
bout time i say.
one for capcom to get their ass in gear and two
for an environment to actually play these games materializing.

Sweet, it's great to see Capcom give the US some more online gaming love. It sucks for ps2 people that online is xbox only, but come on people, xbox + 2 sega games = $200 buy one! Come to think of it, it's probably xbox only because capcom are unwilling to pay for a server for a game they can't charge online for(which they did for the dc service in japan), but with xbox online MS would have to host it.

Gotta give Capcom more credit than that. It's really not their fault. 2 years ago, not many people had access to broadband and a game with the speed of MvC2 cannot settle for 56K. Now with broadband being more readily available, it's great timing on their part.

It's good to see that most people here don't use the cheesy teams, such as Storm, Cable or Mags. Cable being the lamest of the bunch. Only guy I know who can do a 100+ combo with 4 moves. Weak.

Actually, 3 Cables isn't hard to beat. It's when Cable has some lame assist (Psylocke/Psyclops) that makes him tough. Bring it on Loopz!! I like using the SF characters. More of a challenge.

I'll oblige you in CvS2, but I completely do NOT habla MvC2. Remember my ROTD-related tirade about super-duper chains and tagging and air combos? It applies TRIPLE for MvC2.

For me though, X-Box Live will be cool, but not truly compelling until PSO or Halo 2 shows up.
Until these giant threats to my social life show up, CvS2 and Unreal Championship will have to suffice.

CvS2 is cool with me. Isn't this going to come out "LIVE" as well? I believe so. I just need to pick up a arcade stick for these fighters. Time to contact MAS Systems.
