This is what he had to say before.

I just read the post on that Slug 3 "re-release" and how SNK contacted a private individual with a little email asking for advice. I didn't know whether to laugh at the sheer thought of that happening or to cry at the people who could possibly consider believing it. Wake up people!
First off, NGF-USA is the only official distributor for AES cartridges. For something like this to happen, we would have been contacted to get "our orders in." On top of that, we would have posted it in our "news" section to make it official and for everyone to see and get their orders ready.
The biggest problem with that rumor is the fact that it s for an older game that can still be easily found from many various retailers. SNK is not in the habit of re-releasing or manufacturing older titles. They make their production runs in quantities a little UNDER what they know the current market can absorb. They have teams doing market demographics to determine what games would sell and in what numbers. They don't want to be stuck with overstock, because they have had that happen to them in the past, and it has cost them a lot of money.
If anyone was to contact a retailer or online web master about purchasing some new games or even older "stock," it would be NGF-USA contacting these sites because we (NGF-USA) handle the consumer end of these things. We have contacted many retailers and online people in the past with our other "NOS" stock offers, KoF2000 offers, and the coming NitD release, so people already know what we say s for real and verifiable.
More than likely what happened is that some retailer with an overstock of games was contacted by that said person to buy their stock. We were contacted not too long ago by a retailer down south who had many extra copies of Slug 3 and jap KoF2000s. We turned them down due to the high price they wanted. So, it looks like these other people were happy to buy this stock so they could have a little new found "crump." (crump = hype)
Here are some of the items SNK offered us not long ago:
Neo CD systems (top loading),
Neo Pocket cartridges and systems,
extra stock of manuals, posters, and even epilepsy warning cards,
new cartridge boxes (old and new styles),
NeoGeo mugs, KoF2000 mugs, KoF2000 lighters, Sengoku 3 T-shirts, KoF2000 T-shirts,
Neo control pads, Neo AV cables, Neo power supply cables, etc...
Some items we passed on, and some items we accepted. But SNK never mentioned any "re-release" of older games, and they didn't even offer any "found" old stock. There is no more "stock" of AES cartridges lying around in some SNK back room. In case you forgot, we had already bought all that stock up last year. Here is the link to read about it with pictures to prove it:

See, we had all the stock and we had pictures to prove it. We are the only NeoGeo distributor for consumer items. Don't let other places try and deceive and manipulate you into giving them some type of fan fair.
It's amazing the lengths some neo club sites and attention seekers will go through to try and gain some respectability. They feel they have to compete with NGF-USA for some reason. Like we said many times, we are not in competition with "fans" and "fan sites." We are just here to distribute, market, and enjoy the NeoGeo games.
Make your judgments carefully about what you read at those other Exchange places.
The main rule to remember is this:
If you didn't read about it from NeoGeoFreak/NGF-USA, then it's not confirmed.
thank you,
Dion
