'ello everyone,

Although it was alrady recently mentioned by Jon, I thought that I would make a more formal announcement regarding the up coming tournament that a couple of guys and I are throwing.

Basically on July 1st from around 4:00 pm to 8:00 (or later depending on the vibe) we are going to have a video gaming tournament at the GameQuest store in Eastgate, Ohio (near Cincinnati). I personally really wanted to have a "Neo" tournament, but there just isn't enough interest to have a tourny on only the Neo. All that means though is that the Neo tournament won't be the "main" tournament. For the main tournament, everyone around here wants to play Tekken Tag.

So what we're going to do is a have the main tournament (which will have the big $100-$150 prize to win) along with several smaller tournaments (like with the Neo games). Personally I'm just really looking forward to meeting some other Neo players and finally having some good competition <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Please let me know if your going to be able to attend so that we can figure out approximatly how many people are going to be there. Right now we have right around 30-35 people that are signed up.

Also, to those of you who have held tournaments or participated in gaming tournaments, what kind of problems did you run into and what kind of things worked out really well? I would really appreciate any comments or suggestions from anyone on the boards.

Thanks for checking this out!

Same here! I really wanted to have at least a SF3: Third Strike tournament, if I had a to choose something more main stream, but everyone around here loves Tekken Tag... Stupid american gamers. The Neo tournament that we are throwing along side of the Tekken Tag tournament is looking to be pretty good. We are expecting about 15 players for Garou: MOTW, KOF98, and LB2.

Sorry I posted it a little too early. I will be at the tournament and hopefully will call to confirm later next week. Talk to you later.
