Well the time has finally come. This Thursday I will be moving to Japan for a year to study at the University of Tokyo. While there, I will not have ready access to the internet nor this site. I just want to thank all of you for such an entertaining, informative, and fun ride. I might check back from time to time, but this will most likely be my last post. As a parting note, I would like to thank all the European members whose countries have supported America in it's darkest hour. I, as well as the rest of the Americans on this site, will never forget that. Thanks again my friends and good luck.

But for some silly reason I think internet access is quite readily available in Japan.

the internet is very readily available in Japan, but the cost is pretty high compared to the US. If he's "homestay"ing with a Japanese family or living in a dorm, it may not be possible to be online. I really feel bad for Japanese, who are forced to pay out the ass ofr every damn thing - twice as much for gas, telephone, even a quarter pounder with cheese. I like the prices here in the US (except on neo geo games)

1) Don't trust Japanese girl especially those in uniforms

2) Buy as many Neo AES games as possible

Just watch out for several things:

the schoolgirls (this has been said before; basically, if you can get through Catholic schoolgirls without suffering hormonal overload, you should be fine)
J-Pop (bring cotton for your ears just in case <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0"> )
tentacles (especially if you're nowhere near the water)
The Giant Laser Penis (this is actually a joke at my college centered around the anime club and the final boss of Virtual On)
Godzilla attacks
