AIKY will bring the MVS game POCHI NO NYA (POCHI & NYA= DOGZ AND CATZ) for the japanese arcade in july.

And the STINGUER REPORT is saying that PLAYMORE is thinking about develloping games for the SAMMY's ATOMISWAVE.

Well, it's cheap, easy to code for and whatnot, but I'll doubt we will see and DC ports should it be true.

If they are still making money on MVS, they should stick with it...and I dont really have much to say anyways.

Well, what is going on with KOF2003? I'm bored with SVC now and I want to know if they are going to release an official new chapter in the series or not with some rebuilt gameplay hopefully.

Also, when did we see 2k2 info last year? was it about august or sept? I think so.

Well, as for Poochy Nya, it is not even being touched by Playmore, for better or for worse... I am excited for it, I want a new puzzle game, and I know it will be relatively cheap quickly... As for Atomiswave... feh at the moment... show me something nice and I may come around... but Sammy can suck a teet... And, I don't believe Playmore can do the high res coolness at this time... prove me wrong please, but 3d KOF doesn't sound interesting at all to me,

BTW, I seem to remember many times you and others quoting AOF3 as some incredible revolutionary game. It gets as annoying as hearing people like me talk about how great GGX2's graphics are.

GGxx is lame.
dolphin blue, however, is a really cool game, gameplay-wise.
Whether or not you like the style...well, that's entirely different.

Regardless, its a beautiful game with 3D elements...and as much as I love 2D, i'd also love to see Metal Slug make this pseudo jump to 2.5D. It's beautiful, and does not hurt gameplay at all.

Please refer to Shin Contra for PS2; a remarkable 2.5D game...probly the best game I've played in the past 2 years.

I'd like to see stuff on the atomiswave if its like that...

I only have negative feelings of a 3d KOF. Tis's not going to be quality unless Playmore pulls a miracle out of their ass. I dont beleive they have the resources to do it well.

If anything, it reeks of cash-in, using popluar characters to make a buck. Sure, all companies are doing that, but you have to include the soul as well. Otherwise, you will fall.

The same discussion probably went on during the Hyper 64 days, and yknow what? From what I hear, those games are pretty damn good.

In this case, like most other threads that serve as conjecture on future releases, until you see this release, get first hand reviews... etc. Saying it will suck is just ridiculous.

Heh, Fran is one of those guys who I can disagree with about 95% of the time. It makes for some great arguments, which is kinda the whole point of a BBS isn't it?

BTW, Ben Herman has stated that the 3D KOF is coming out exclusively on PS2. And I don't care how much you don't want to believe him, they didn't give him a section of the company, and tell development teams in his group to make a 3D KOF for it not to happen.

They know we're 2D fighting fans, so I HOPE TO GOD that is plays as fast and as nicely as a 2D fighter can, and not be some shitty Tekken/VF rip off.

Plus I think that the 3D GFX would look pretty nice, especially if they can get them to SC2 levels.

BTW, after playing KOF2k2 for what has been months now. Having to go back and play KOF2k1 makes me dislike the game a lot more than when I was playing it when it was new.

If only there was no BC mode, 2k2 would be almost perfect.... frown
