New Neo Games On The Horizon

We have been hearing some juicy info about new AES games that could be coming. Just a recap for everyone:

Nightmare In The Dark from SNK via NGF (cancelled/delayed/conversion?) <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0">
Sengoku 3 from SNK via Neo-Geo.com (actual SNK release) <IMG SRC="smilies/drool2.gif" border="0">
Strikers 1945 Plus from Arcade (conversion?) <IMG SRC="smilies/confused.gif" border="0">

I like anybody else would love to see any new games on our system especially any games from SNK that are English releases!!! The most promising one in this bunch is Sengoku 3 from Shawn if he can make it happen. Official SNK all the way just make sure it comes to our shores in English. I'm tired of all these newer AES games that were only japanese releases.

In one way converted games are another way we can get more games on to our Neo. However, if they are legitimately done using a chip from the MVS cartridge then it's not technically piracy. But depending on how they are marketed they could be considered pirated.

I feel the only true way to go is an official SNK release all the way. I would buy any game that comes out that is made by SNK. Because in the long run, the only way we can get SNK back from bankruptcy is by buying official SNK products.

I find that very strange.why SNK doesn't released these games?

This is kind of what the situation with SNK is:

They are in a current state of bankruptcy. They have to focus on things that will make them money. Unfortunately, the AES is not the money maker it used to be. SNK's main cash cow right now is licensing it's properties and selling arcade games (MVS).
However, SNK is willing to release any game for the home system if anybody is willing to purchase a minimum of 2000 copies with money upfront since they hardly have any left.

We should all be glad that Arcade and Shawn are trying to make some home carts (professionally made, that is).

I actually prefer Jp version myself but at this point I'll take English version since it's easier to make inserts and manual.

There you go Pichai, that is what it is all about in the end. Buy the games you like on the format that you want them. I too look forward to these as well as any other future SNK releases. I can't wait to see what happens in the next year or so.

I agree with Fran : If SNK of Japan releases any new homecart I' ll buy it but I have no interest in conversions especially when they try to make it look like a "professional made, better than the originals SNK carts".

I also hope that if SNK decides to release a new game, the Japanese art and docs will be chosen.

However i think i would buy their games if they go on release them.....

If they chose to sell lisence for the MVS...Why don't they decide to create a new format and a new home system similar to that one??

Fuck convertions,

converted carts are like an emulator, no original stuff will suck all the way.

Snk rules and there's no need for professional or real cool converted shit.

I'd rather get the MVS's with an Arcade convertor than make rich the people that convert crap carts. <IMG SRC="smilies/veryangry.gif" border="0">
