its funny that these so called 'inferior ports' sell 10x more in their first week than the entire run of the homecart

Well obviously. I mean look at the price difference. Only the hardest of the core is going to purchase the original ngh versions.

Yeah ports TOTALLY don't sell...
tickled

These stats prove that ports give playmore a good source of income.

More ports
=
More money (for playmore)
=
More games for my neo glee

I really feel sorry for those who know little about videogames and end up wasting money on games like the Matrix. it's kind of "hopeless"

good job Playmore

Yes but only the hardest of the core buy the originals. tickled

Plus just look at the amount made. There are so many more copies of the ports created than of the home carts. So like I said obviously the port is going to sell more. Just because it sells more doesnt mean its of the same quality or better than the neo version. Which you seem to be implying.

KOF 2002 is selling well. Something about 16.000 pcs where produced. MS3 is doing bad. About 45.000 pcs were produced.

@Sonic 10times? Maybe you should watch the japanese NeoGeo Home KOF 2002 sales figures more exactly. :) After the first week something about 6200 pcs were sold. By the way, the figures above are from the first day.

What the crap!?!?

Did The Matrix do really well in Jp. or something? I know that it was not the game play that people bought Enter the Matrix for.

Is that sales in millions of copies? It's cool to see some of those games up there.

There is definitely some irony in these Neo Games being ported onto technologically superior systems where they sell well.
