Did anyone read the new EGM and how it said that a booth selling neo*geo carts was passed up for collecting other games. I don't pay any attention to Dion Dakis and his crew, but doesn't he do that expo? Couldn't we give a collective ha! that the naive collectors could see shit from a mile away. Or that the atari collectors give a rats ass about neo. I prefer the former of course (he screwed a person I personally know out of money-not me though)But I just want to see your feeling on this-especially Big Bear he always cracks me up on these issues.

I'm pretty sure it's because Atari collectors don't care about the Neo. Their lack of business has been slightly exagerated, they sold out of T shirts and sold a lot of posters.

The Wawa angers me.

Hey Blaine your just jealous,
I live 1 minute seriously from Wawa PA) It is not in the sticks by any stretch of the means even though it sounds upstate. Anyhow-The plant smells like milk when you drive by there. There is a Wawa there too, the only one I know that makes cheesestakes. PS that is actually where the comic Prince Vallient was first written (I never liked it when I was little, but can appreciate it now.)

Hey Blaine
I put potato chips on sandwitches, here in Media-ruffles and Herrs are the best ones and Ham and cheese also is the best for it.
M.A.D-the article was in Egm to let you know.

Ralfakick- *cringe* Wawa... my arch-nemesis. I put Potato Chips on sandwiches as well..Chipped Ham and FRESH potato chips rules. I love how all the Philly people I know HATE how we put fries on sandwiches, even cheesesteaks...but they put CHEEZ WIZ on them!! That blows my mind. If ANYONE should have respect for the sandwich, it should be those clowns...it's a shame really.

I think putting French Fries on a sandwich is more respectful than Cheez Wiz.

Although you may not want to hear it...sorry...but I've been yelled at before for saying it and it's true. I've had Pat's, I've had Geno's, I've had almost every sandwich you can and the best steak sandwich is not in Philly...it's not in Pittsburgh (like I know you may be thinking...we don't have phenomoal cheesesteaks...just REALLY good steak!)...it's in Wildewood NJ.

Russo's Deli. This thing is fucking huge and soooooo goooooood. It's a 20" hoagie. They use 21" bread and SLICE OFF A CHUNK FROM THE MIDDLE SO IT'S 20"...amazing.

I have yet to have a cheesesteak to match it. Sorry, fellas. I'd like to keep the title in PA but...damn!

I like Cheez wiz on cheese steaks like everyone else : ).
Try Jim's steaks on South Street-if your ever in the area I'll buy you one in Springfield Pa
Where is that in Wildwood? I want to check it out and go to the shore there.
Have you played Beast Busters and some of the other games on the boardwalk?
If so do you miss Turf masters, strikers and a working metal slug machine there.
At least DDR is there now.
I will try fries on my sandwidch (sic) today, who knows maybe it will be good and I'll move to Pittsburgh with the rest of the freaks.
Also its okay that the sandwich is in NJ-cause they try to be like PA and NY there anyhow. (To anyone I like Jersey but I am kidding.-AC can be like crack and the Wild West buffet rules.)
Also what are your feeling on pizza fries with cheese wiz and sauce they are really good.

Blaine I'm going to have to agree with you...South Jersey cheesesteaks kick Philly's up and down.

One of my friends who went there this year and this is what he had to say about them at CGE, I'll hold his name anonimous

"NeoGeo guys: well, what can I say... while I'm used to high prices for some of the hard-core collectibles, their prices were just insanse! Plus their whole posturing and look... don't get me wrong, but these guys just didn't come across as true fans or gamers. Their prime objective was money and with all the other stores at the show you had the impression that while they were trying to make a buck their prime interests were the show and the games themselves. So overall, even without knowing all the details you could tell right away that something didn't quite add up with these guys.
I had an interesting chat with one of the DP guys and we both thought that these Neo-Geo guys with their bodybuilder-turned-pimp-look (that's what somebody called it!) just didn't fit the bill of true (classic) videogame enthusiasts. Anyway, I don't want to be to harsh but no good vibes here."

Obviously it wasn't because of Neo-Geo itself.
