Shawn- we need a Daisuke Jigen tribute on the main page-

We have to do something substantive for the guy, a history or something, with pictures and a timeline. The name change, the big arguments he got in, the games he liked, all the stuff he contributed, etc. I mean, he was really one of this site' premier members.

Something big has got to happen, something big.

Really,

It's gotta be big and we all have to get involved in some way.

It's such a big deal that the Cystic Fibrosis took him so all of the sudden....

Shawn- you know we have to do something monumental for him.

It won't bring Clint back, but it can help to improve others lives and hopefully find a cure for this terrible disease some day.

A year or two ago, Jig said that his family would send Shawn his neo geo stuff. And then Shawn agreed to sell it in the store and donate all the money to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. I don't know if this is going to happen or not, but it would be nice if it did.

His original account was gokusama and he kept the original account # 122. Clint had taken advantage of the name change option during one of our past forum upgrades.

A news tribute has been posted on the front of NG.com. Update suggestions are welcome.

I agree. If we put up something for Jigen then we should definately put one up for SNK4EVER. Maybe a memorial page where people can post memories of the person.

Does someone want to assemble a memorial page to our fallen Neo bretheren that we can place on the site here? I really wanted to take a crack at it, but I'm unable to do any web-editing for at least a few months.

It should integrate the avatar, a real person, and something about the person. They should be short, sweet, and succinct -like any memorial you've seen in real life.
