I will. I don't want to buy a convertor because I will have to buy a new neo. My neos are too low in serial number. Additionally, there aren't that many games that I want to buy in MVS form. I also have trouble swallowing the idea of buying an item that does nothing by iteself. The !Arcade convertor does nothing on it's own. You have to buy a ton of MVS games to make it pay off.

My $0.02

What do you mean Sept 30 deadline? They won't make anymore after that date? <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0"> I was planning on buying a copy in the future.

They may not produce any more than the number pre-ordered. So to be sure you'll get a copy, you should pre-order.

I'll probably just get the MVS version.

Not only is the September 30th deadline too tight for me to make, but the game, on MVS format, is only about 1/3rd the price.

While I would like to have the home cart (simply from a collector's standpoint), I can skip the cart release and simply pick up the MVS version.

Don't know how much play time this would get anyway (don't normally like this kind of game anyway), and so I'd rather not spend tons of money on this one if I can help it.

Well, so much for the limited edition 50 cart run of Strikers. They better not produce the second run eith the same art (gold'n'stuff) starting with #51 or I`ll get really angry coz that`s not the purpose of a limited edition.

Considering NitD: Why the downfall with no
manual after Strikers? If it`s a go with 50 pieces of Strikers why not also with NitD?

How do you know there wont be a manual? Just because it's not in the photo doesn't mean there wont be one.

I would love to see a manual with the Nightmare In the Dark cart, but I think the lack of one may be why they are only asking $350 instead of $400.

Keep in mind that Strikers MVS carts currently cost about half as much as the NitD MVS carts.

Also, !ARCADE! may still be offsetting some of the cost of the custom PCBs they're using for the carts...either way, I see a lot of potential for their ultra high quality cart conversions, especially if they can eventually get prices down to the SNK standard of about $285!

I'd like to order both carts from them, but I'm putting US Slug 3 and Sengoku 3 on my credit cards...need more time...stinkin' dealines!! Argh!!

Man, I just think it's nuts to pay $350 for such an average ass game. Especially when someday that same game will be a $50 MVS cart. Guess if you have to buy everything...
Between GameCube and Sengoku 3, that sucker's got no chance in my budget.

So NiTD isn't worth getting? Never played the game, but if it's not good, then it's no big loss. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Strikers re-release:
No numbers,no foil print. But snaplock cases.
NITD:
No manual.Seems to be a time issue,as can be seen on the short deadline..
But read for yourself:
http://www.neogeousa.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get topic&f=1&t=000008

They mailed me exactly the same message.
No mentioning of the price of the new Strikers...

Again awaiting their next answer.... <IMG SRC="smilies/tongue.gif" border="0">

Ok to keep you happy bud, !Arcade! has already said that a Strikers Re-Release would not be numbered and produced all the same.

So the 1 thru 50 copies which are marked as such will still be considered 1st print runs of this game.

Check out their BBS -no manual for NitD, which is why it's cheaper.

Endtime, Nightmare in the Dark is a Snow Bros.-type game. A platformer in the original, truest sense of the word. You jump on platforms (or down through them.. I think; been a while since I played it) throw fireballs at the baddies and "pop" them in one of a couple ways. I never played Snow Bros. so perhaps that is in part why I really did love NitD when I played it on MVS. US $350 (~C $540) and no booklet is just a bit much for me, plus I'm in the midst of deciding whether to keep or sell my stuff, so needless to say I'm going to pass.

In my case I should get them all, but I figure it's not official release plus the timing is too tight for me, !Arcade! need to realize there're a lot of people who want the games, it's a matter of saving up. On top of that, SNK is also releasing Sengoku 3, possibly KOF 2001 home cart by Xmas, so in that perspective, MVS will suffice for me.

I'd love to pick one up, but ,like others, the timing is just not for me either. In a couple of months I'd be go for one.....if they still have them I guess.

I won't get NitD. After all I've seen this is some kind of Bubble Bobble platformer, and the price tag is too high for me for such a game, especially with the Sept 30th deadline.

Currently, I'm saving for Sengoku 3 and KoF2k1 (if it ever comes out on AES).
