forgive my ignorance but what does "dumping" kof2k1 mean?

Have they "hacked" the game so that it is available in pure ROM form for PC emulators or sumthing?

As supporting of emulation as I am, this should be given some freaking time. Hell, I just got a new version of King of Fighters to play, I wouldn't mind waiting another year for 2001. This sucks. I know that I won't be able to ever play the game where I live save an emulator. But damn! Give the people a chance to make some money off of this game. This isn't a service to the emulation community, its an insult!

Its not my job to stop this from happening, but I will say this. This is the wrong choice, and the people who are doing this, if they have any sence of decency at all they will stop this. This is crossing the line from emulation to pure, outright, blatant piracy. This makes me sick.

I'm just happy to read that KoF2K1 is coming to NGH. I'm crazy, I guess. I could play it for free, but I like to support companies that make games for me. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Remember in this special holidayseason:
It is great to give, as well as recieve.

I think its a hoax. I'd say that it'll be quite a while before KOF 2001 is dumped, and even if it is dumped, many emulators won't even support it (Look at Sengoku 3 and Zupapa)

Awwwweee, I'm sorry Fran. I thought it would be ok since this wasn't a "real" SNK game and you didn't play anything that wasn't from SNK.

And notice, I said I'd get the MVS version when the price dropped, if the game is any good. Sorry, I'm not a blantant idiot who will go spend about $300 on a game that I haven't played before! There are no arcades here where I can play this so I think I will make these PC sticks soon and start playing when the ROM is released. Hell since I'm going all out on this, I might as well start that Mame PC design I was working on. Yeah and I can play all the KOF games, even your precious KOF 98! But then again maybe I won't cause I dont' think it's all that good.

Yeah, and when I'm done I'll post the pics and How-to's on a website, right next to the Home MVS how-to. Just so everyone can see how to build it and play Neo games "perfectly" through emulation.

So I'll start my Mame PC setup

and I'll have a lot of fun with it

And then I'll show other people

how they can do it too!

So that I can piss Fran off even more.

And I'll be happy in my work.
