"Chaos_X has been slowly rewriting code from several different Neo Geo emulators, including Neorage."

sure he did.. too bad the source code was never released, so he can't have been rewriting shit. plus, with the mame source etc being freely available, rewriting code from several different emus into one would be several times more work than writing one from scratch.

"-since streaming is not possible, most of the DC's resources are used up in loading the rom. This means that in order to play another game, you must turn off your Dreamcast and turn it on again."

bullshit. just where is the problem in flushing the ram?

"-unlike Neo Geo emulators on the pc which can read Neo Geo roms as 'zip' files, the roms must be unzipped and put inside folders on the cdr in order for Neo DC to work properly. Of course, unlike most conventional roms, Neo Geo roms are large (ie. anywhere up to approx. 30 megs), meaning that you will not be able to fit near as many Neo Geo roms on a blank cdr as you could with Snes or Genesis roms."

ah yeah. and just HOW does he plan on fitting said 30+ MB roms into the 16 MB ram of the DC, especially since he just claimed streaming is impossible, plus the fact that you need way more ram than just the rom takes up in order for the emu to work with it?

not to mention that the resolution of the "menu" in the screenshots section is wrong and looks like a 3 minute paintshop pro job.

it's a lie, hoax, trash, bullshit, fake.

All right kids, Lesson One in spoting a PhotoShop job...check the resolution. Especially in regards to 'screen caps'.

If you right click on the image and bring up the properties you'll see it's 572x400. Standard NTSC resolution is 720x480. PAL is (I think) 720x482. I don't remember what SECAM is but I'm almost positive it's not 572x400. Now since this can not go evenly into any of those (meaning run at half the resolution) I doubt highly this was actually a 'screen shot' and I think this might be a "representation" of what the menu might look like...until he tries to run it, if he tries to run it, on a TV or Monitor and sees how distorted it is <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">.
