HI!

Does anyone have a hint if a or even which company bought the copyright on Garou MotW.

I had an idea for a Character, and after some nice feedbacks I am more interested, that - if a MotW 2 would come - this character is implemented!

I don't think they'll even consider your character, mainly because you're not in their group. But my bet is that Brezzasoft has the copyright (the top executive's sister in law won all rights).

What do you mean by "in their group".

Do you mean their designers by that?

A) you're in their company.

B) you're not Japanese.

These two things, even by themselves, will work against you. Your best bet is to find someone in Brezzasoft, like a programmer or planner, and dump the design to him/her, but that's not really possible, is it? And then you'd have to sign away any rights to the character, because they won't want to pay you royalties at all.

I bet they already have the initial planning done on that game. After all, the first game left some pretty cool oportunities open.

What should be done is that someone on the list with a lot of money gets together with the people who got programming talent (like Jeff K.) and make the game and present it to Brezzasoft. They'll quote the cost of licensing and production, and you can negotiate from there.

Another game that left a lot of possibilities open but was never continued: Kizuna Encounter. SNK made this game, so SNK could have continued the series. It was a damn good game too. King Lion and Jyazu are both still alive. I'd love to see those characters make it into another game (namely Kim Sue Il, Rosa, a slimmer Gordon).
