6 slot arcade

have not seen any pics of any 6 slot mvs machines, in mame cabs and here, lots of 2 & 4 slots, are they rare ?

Not really. Just big. If you take a look at my collection pics you'll see a picture of the 6-slot header and control panel overlay.

the real problem with the six slots were that they were just TOO MUCH OF A GOOD THING.
first off, they were FUCKING HUGE cabinets and heavy as hell, and the worst part was while you would have A group of kids playing each other in the latest fighting title to hit the streets the other 5 games were in accessible to those wanting to play them. on top of all of that the six slot boards are rumored to be problematic.

recently i bought a 6 slot cab from a guy in Lancaster for only £185 (£220 including shipping) pretty good deal me thinks

too true i seem to constantly have a problem with slot 5 - for some reason

Wow, the first pic Ive seen of a 6 slot cab. I have two 6 slot cabs made in Australia which are quite different, they have 2 rows of 3 game select options. Will post a pic soon <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

These are my twins, nice or what, would you beleive that they cost $100 for the lot including the carts ( with the exception of the MS carts running in the cabs )for the pic <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Thanks for the post. That's true that multi-slot system are great because mine has only one slot and I must open it to change the games.
