But if you're very lucky you can get a big colour strat guide full of artwork!
For an extra £10.99

So get the fuck off your asses and go out and buy this last "real" SNK game ever to be released in the UK!

BTW, I have a feeling its a 10,000 print for Europe. MAXIMUM!
So, might be worth getting it sooner rather than later!

Capcom developed the game "with input from SNK"... SNK had creative control developing the NGPC games (and it shows).

Hmmm, thats why "real" gets inverted commas.
But its still more real SNK than anything we're ever likley to get again! (in the UK)

I'm not exactly holding my breath for a Uk release of MOTW <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

Hmm i dont own a playstaion 2,just a mvs but it might be worth getting the game now while its on the shelves and then I can wait till i find a cheap second hand playstation 2

I cant actually believe it came out so quick,
we in england usually have to wait months for games like that to come out.

I think i will buy the strad guide though, not for tips just for pics and profiles <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Bloody right mate!

I had a job getting the strat guide, I've gotta pick it up tomorrow (sat) let me know how easy it is to find where you are?

None of the independants around here got it, my local EB didnt get it, and Game have got one in! (which is the one I'm getting)
Even the game is thin on the ground.

I guess 2D fans, and SNK fans, are an endangered species!

I notice you cant move for copies of Half Life, World Rally Championship, and every other PS2 release for this week!

So, whats it like on PS2? I'd get it if I didnt have to pay for a load of MVS games I bought a while back. And Devil May Cry is another game I really wanted...why do all the good games come out when I have no money?

Another thing to watch out for in the UK - Playnation are giving away free copies of Tank Police DVD (acts 1&2) this month. Should be out now...at least I can afford that <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

I have not even played the game in the arcade.
I brought kof2000 last month so i am skint to get a ps2 as well
it seems there are a lot of britains up late tonight <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Talking about how we cant afford Capcom Vs SNK 2...I have a sinking feeling that I'm going to ask 'why?' in the morning when I feel like shit. Going to the Sheffiled Space Center tomorrow. Read: Best shop in the UK!

Why don't you find a cheap Jap/US DC, have it modded, and buy the Jap. version of the game second hand somewhere? The DC version is better and cheaper than getting a PS2. Plus, then you can own all the Capcom fighters, Garou, Last Blade 2, KOF'98 + KOF'99.

Double shit.I forgot all about getting that strat guide today till i just saw this post again <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">
i will have to try tomorrow as the shops are all open for xmas shopping.

At the moment buying a ps2 is not something i am even considering, i have become bored with playing video games lately and i have not seen any games on thate system that is worth me forking out a lot of cash for.
If i ever see a game i can go WOW to i might.

Any of you guys that have bought it knwo what it runs like in PAL? What I mean is, does it have borders and/or slower gameplay? I really wish they'd put 60hz options in more PAL games as that would solve this prob for most people... <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0">

Well the bad news is it runs in 50hz with borders of about an inch and a half top and bottom.
Good news is 44 playable characters, at least two hidden characters, more options than I've ever seen in a fighter!
6 grooves, plus a hidden option to make your own groove.
6 colours for each character, and MUCH more!

Its all detailed in the start guide LEE!!!
With 12 pages of artwork at the back.

It dosent run slow, or at least not really noticably, but SNK Vs Capcom 1, on the DC does look better because its full screen!
But CvS2 on the PS2 has SO much more depth!

Its the real thinking mans beat-em-up, there's no doubt about that.

Lastly, its worth noting the superbly detailed 3D backgrounds in CvS2.

I'm not sure about this, as I think I prefer the 2D ones in CvS1, but they are truely beautifully done!
Jaw dropping in places, Really, I shit you not!

One thing is, it all looks a bit small even on a mid sized 21inch telly!
So, if your playing it on a portable, or a small widescreen, its gonna look like a handheld!

Thanks for the info - I have the import anyway, which is what I used to write my review a while back, but I was just wondering if the PAL version was up to much. I can't believe companies STILL aren't doing enough to fix our games up <IMG SRC="smilies/veryangry.gif" border="0">

I got the official fighters guide today from game <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">its awesome,well worth 11 pounds
I saw the game on the shelve too and I was very tempted to buy it and a playstation 2 but alas i have not the funds at the moment
The guide is a must have <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
