I know your getting frustrated with me asking you about your business, but I believe that you should keep us a little more informed as to what is going on in the world of the Neo-Geo; and the "new SNK", Sun Amusement. I respect the fact that you want to keep your releases as "all go", and truthful as possible. Your smart to do that, and I commend you on that. I just wish you would post frequent news about the current situation in the industry and in your business, www.neo-geo.com

It is not wise to comment on releases that cannot be confirmed 100%. Remember the Metal Slug 3 re-release? Even with most retailers taking preorders, I still would not comment, saying that the re-release was unconfirmed at this time.

Once full payment for the English Metal Slug 3 release was transferred, only then did I have the right to confirm the release of this title. The same ethical rules were applied to the English Sengoku 3 release, and will also apply to future releases.

I prefer not to announce releases that I cannot confirm. To confirm a release, be it Arcade’s Strikers 1945 or Ganryu production, or Eolith’s KoF 2001, the production must first be paid for in full. This way hopes are not let down and confirmations continue to be accepted as fact.

Hope your mother’s surgery was a success.

Thanks for responding to my post Shawn. My mother is doing much better since her surgery, and her prognosis is very good. She is cancer free as of now. =)

I hope everyone gets to read this tidbit on how trustworthy Shawn really is . When he says something, odds are, its gonna happen. Mark my Words, not Mark of my Words.

I'm not sure if anyone has ever brought up the fact on the authenticity of the Metal Slug 3 U.S. release, but I confirmed it with some "current SNK" employees. As a matter of fact, I didn't even bring up the topic as my contact brought it up in our casual conversation of the direction of Neo Geo. So once and for all, the Metal Slug 3 that Shawn is selling is the official U.S. release and is in every way REAL.

Just to give you guys/gals a taste of some excitement, there are BIG plans for the Neo in the future. Whether or not it will be a success remains to be seen, but Mr. Kawasaki is going forward with all engines running.

Despite what you've read MMCAFE about the home AES releases, I believe at the moment, that isn't concrete news as for the present time, Mr. Kawasaki is concentrating on the MVS market only. Things may change as time goes on, but that's the plan in the near future.

Wow, great news! I'm glad to see the Neo forging ahead, even if it is just for MVS releases at this point (I guess buying that cab was a good idea <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">).
