Got my issue of GamePro the other day and finnally got the time to read it. They had a "blub" section where they just mention cool stuff, and one of them was:
"if you haven't been to neo-geo.com lately, check it out, Metal Slug still kicks ass."

Dan, did you do this or was it one of the other editors? Don't tell me Shawn gave you one of those "New AES" systems for this....j/k

Just thought it was cool to see something Neo Related in a gaming mag.

Actually my last Next Gen had Neo stuff in there as well, in the "We were playing at this time" for 1992 they had King of the Monsters and I think Fatal Fury 2 in there. Neo seems to be popping up all over the place.

Peace

Nope, no "compensation for coverage" here--despite what Marco's Arms Dealer may have you believe. Besides, I'm an MVS kinda guy. I didn't even tell Shawn I was doing it. I just realized how much I appreciated the site, how valuable it is as a resource, and I wanted to give it some public props. I hope that doesn't backfire and bring in a lot of morons, because I like the community here. It's passionate and crazy and helpful.

I also thought that, for a change, it might be good for the bulk of GamePro readers to acknowledge the existence of game systems that don't rhyme with "claymation."

you know some people have been watching this site for a while and never really said anything, or posted much in the way of replies.
but ifigure i'll throw in my two cents on this one. any new members to this neo-community that come from the gamepro will be teporary, and if anyone sticks w/ it, all the better. then you can think well there are a lot of people w/ valuable neo-products tucked away in their closets, and think they can finaly get the money back that they think they wasted. so opens of some opertunities to maybe get some goods for cheap. while i'm at it, it will never fail to amaze me that the neo is so old and still contends whith the modern technology, aint no system ever come close to this one.

but to be honest i think it will take a little more than that gamepro act to draw more to the neo-community, time to go look for a neo64 in the area.
