So it it just a mini one slot with the IM bios, breadboard interface for the trackball, and a custom trackball housing?

EDIT- I see A/V outs. No Supergun needed?

Did SNK even make any money off irritating maze cause I've never seen it in the arcades anywhere ,

They'd also have to wire in a special controller interface to get that trackball working unless it plugs onto the Jamma edge. Either way, it makes me kick myself for buying that IM kit 6 months ago

If you had a jamma of Marble Madness could you use the track ball from Irritating maze with it? or is it only for that game?

You might have to wire up a special harness to use other trackball based games. It all depends on the game....if I had Marble Madness's manual I could see how its Jamma edge matched up with IMs.

I really like that controler, it looks pretty tough. I might actually try to get Arcade to make me one of those for my MVS cab. Then I can play Irritating maze without worrying about a new control panel!!! Oh well, looks cool atleast, but the game is a little boring... but it is cool that it will finally be available to the masses. I mean, it really isn't even available to us MVS owners in less we want to make a special setup just for it!

There are actually two Irritating Maze arcade games, and a TV show. The other irritating Maze was a giant novelty machine where it was around 6-10 feet wide and you ran the wand through mechanically. It had a fog machine and spark effects. I remember it shipped in in my final days, but never got to play it :( .

It was also a television show in Japan. Basically, a wacky wire game with an evil twist: the wand assembly was charged to 10,000 volts! Contestants wore heavy gloves and goggles while playing the game. When the wand touched the sides, it was spectacularly explosive. It was a timed basis with the fans going absolutely apesh*t, on an energy level similar to WWF...
