Just letting ya'll know that I've placed up
a US King of Fighters 2000 insert scan
for download. Its in Bitmap format.

Like i've said on another topic, we all need to thanx Nick The Fury for his site, preventing us from being ripped off for US inserts...

I promise Nick, when i'll put my KOF2K back on my shelf, with the US insert(but without the NGF part ^_^ ), i'll think to you (lol...if my girlfriend know that!)

It is great that the insert is available for all who want it. I already took care of the NGF agreement on the back. It was easy, I just moved the warning from the bottom up to where the "scar" was and blacked out the rest. Very simple, and it looks much better. Now I just have to get it printed out and I will be all set.

Are you on crack buddy? Nobody is being ripped off for inserts here. What you are saying is similar to making a scan of a Garou insert, printing it out, and then saying that it's great not to be ripped off for the real $550 game. Trey's site is a wonderful collection of Neo tidbits that will cover numerous facets of the Neo community, but the scans provided are NOT a substitute for the real thing. I scanned this insert to be able to help those people who are not able to afford the version, so when you think of the insert, think of this often lambasted "IDIOT" who had the guts to risk a NGF deal.

Kisel gof I agree. I was wondering if there was any way to upload as high quality scan as possible of the insert so poeple could modify it to take the NGF name off?

I didn't want to hurt your pride with my post, just wanted to tell how i was happy to have a US insert scan for my KOF2K jap cart... As you said, you got the guts to deal with NGF, but you're US based, i'm not, so that a deal between me and NGF should surely result in a crook story.

You also talked about Garou, i got the US version, for 330$ only. That's way above the 530$ asked for a KOF2K US version (and i don't even talk of the URL insert)

Finally, i've never wish to make a fake collection, with scanned inserts used as real ones, but i like to see all my KOF inserts as US ones, even if KOF2K had a simple scan. This is my point of view, you can agree with it or not...

Thanks to Kale, Trey and a friend of mine that works at Kinkos I have a very nice printout of the US insert. I am not using it as a replacement for the Jap insert, I am just putting it over the Jap insert so that it fits in line with the rest of my collection which is all US, with the exception of MS3. Real? Fake? I really don't care. My printout is fake, but I think it looks great. Who the hell else is going to care if I have a scanned insert over the original Jap? I don't have any Neo friends that live near me. I mean, I can't see my girlfriend looking at my Neo collection in disgust because I have "ruined" it with a unoriginal item. I think it looks sweet and thats all that matters in my book. Again I would like to thank Kale and Trey for the quality scan. We should spend more time enjoying the Neo instead of fighting over it. Game on!

Well I may have argued with Kale (Kiselgof) a few times in the past, but I must say it was nice of hime to provide a scan of the insert for everyone to see or print if they wish. I apologize if I came off rude to you on those occasions, Kale, thats something I occasionally have a tendency to do.

And thanks for the scan, it shows that you want to contribute to the Neo community . . .

I appreciate it Chimp since all I am trying to do is help people by providing information. In terms of flaming, we can all be pretty rude, but that is the way arguments eventually turn out. The truth is that some people tend to continually shoot off their mind without paying attention to details. This warranted my IDIOT FAQ flame which has already been moved to the war room (I should incorporate into it some extra info to all you newbie snowboarders out there who are stupid enough to sit and chill out on tight curves and mess up everyone's runs).

Kurt, you are hilarious man and I praise you. Your philosophy is right on the money because our collections are there for our own personal benefit, not to show off to other people and say, hey I am better than you because I got more carts than you.

As for the manual, I've already tried scanning it but it hasn't come out very well. I've made an enlarged b/w photocopy for Kurt that I am sending him and if demand is there, I will scan the moves pages for anyone interested.
