According to MadMans Cafe:

Playmore has opened their official site, "Playmore.co.jp" and "SNKNeoGeo.co.jp". Both sites both point to the identical Playmore official web page.

In their new site, Playmore publically announces their acquirement of all intellectual properties of SNK, and reveals the official date of acquirement to have been October 31st of 2001. Playmore also lists companies directly under the PlayMore/NeoGeo Group as follows (Eolith and Megaking are contractors, and thus not listed).

Company Details
Sun Amusement Co. Domestic Japan arcade game sales, management of amusement facilities.
Brezza Soft Co Arcade & home software development, foreign sales.
Noise Factory Ltd. Arcade & home software development.
SNK NeoGeo America Arcade amusement machine sales within all of the United States.
SNK NeoGeo Hong Kong Arcade amusement machine sales and character licensing in Asia, excluding Japan and Korea.
SNK NeoGeo Korea Character licensing business within Korea

In addition, Playmore has announced KOF2000 to be released for the Sega DreamCast. The game will be a perfect arcade port with DC originals: Alternate Strikers will have unique backgrounds during 2 Player mode, featuring stages which cannot be experienced at the arcades.

As previously noted in February, "Garou - Mark of the Wolves" and "Last Blade 2 -Final Edition" are scheduled for re-release on the DC as well, priced 2800Yen on 5/23. The release date and price for Dreamcast's KOF2000 is unreleased as of now.

Playmore's site also offers some information of Evoga's upcoming "Rage Of The Dragons", and downloadable wallpapers of KOF2000 and KOF2001 in commemoration of the site's opening

Well, there's the official confirmation of KoF2k for DC. Arcade perfect.

Too bad there won't be a us version, just like the cart.

Cool news, cheers. :)

Of course, with regard to KoF2K for DC, I'm sure Chris or Dion could whip up some US inserts so you can have a homogenised DC collection. lol

Then in a couple of months time NSX-T will be begging to buy them off you!

Can't go wrong really with this bootlegging - ask Ralph!!

Did you know there used to be a computer game called 'Ninja Hamster'? It was a pretty good beat 'em up for it's time too.

I believe it was based on a comic book...

There was a comic book called "Adolescent Radioactive Blackbelt Hamsters." Obviously, it was a rip-off of TMNT. Perhaps it was based on that?

More importantly, where will the offices of SNK NEO GEO America be located?

I'm betting the LA Area. The Bay Area is so, well, soo "Barone." (Yeech!)

Ha ha ha.

Maybe they'll need a call center? Kansas has nothing but open space. ;)

Ironically, my mom is the head of her department in the Labone call center.

A bit. A friend of mine manages a comic store that is right next to the game store than another friend owns, so I spend a lot of time at the two places.

On another note, remember people saying that BrezzaSoft got a lot of the former SNK employees that used to work on the KOF games? I see BrezzaSoft on the list of companies directly beneath PlayMore. Perhaps we will see some SNK properties receive new incarnations on the Crystal System.
