HMMMM, not A bad read at all. some of those obscure items in part one are really interesting.
word of advice though, part 2 was A little drab (the neo flame war shit is way past boring) you should make part 3 more like one and ask some lighter, more neo related questions which would make for A much better read than that second part. just my two cents.

"Kyo2000: We can see that you've done a lot of traveling. Any favorite spots?
Dion: Tokyo, Greece, Monaco, Monte Carlo, Hawaii, Las Vegas, and Chicago."

Ahahahah Monte Carlo and Monaco are the same.

I'm confused... what makes collecting NGF signature cartridges any different than collecting the real thing? If you have both types of carts don't you still have the exact same game? Why would I want two carts of the same game... actually I would want the cart that came straight from the factory, IMHO.

"Dion, along with his partner, Chris Ray, are two of the most important figures in the "Neo Scene". Kyo2000 has scored a long-running interview with NGF. This tells us two things. First, if Kyo2000 wanted it that bad, then Chris and Dion are the real deal. Second, the fact that he scored the interview says a lot for his professionalism, and that his work is being appreciated by them."

juh?

Edit: on a side note, I find it absolutely hilarious that those original artworks of the Shock Troopers: 2nd Squad characters are labelled: "shocktgirlsmallngf.jpg" and "shocktguysmallngf.jpg" shocktgirl and shocktguy??? They don't even know their names?! (Lulu and Toy). Oh yeah, they sure know a lot about the actual Neo-Geo games!

I like Monte Carlo a lot. I want to know how many neo collectors own property in Monaco. Not like I'd have to live there, but face it, tax in Monaco is a good selling point. :)

LOL, looks like Kyo2000 (formerly kyoisthekof and kyoisthespammer) has a bit of an ego problem. No offense dude, but you might want to ease up on the idiotic self-praise. You are probably about the only guy who holds that inflated view of yourself, which is kinda pathetic.

I think your interview was real good . Part 1 kept me reading , part 2 was a little lame , only because I don't care what they have to say about flamewars , You know they'll still lie . I like the layout of the pics too .

...Is this a joke? If it is it's not very funny...

Thus far no negative feedback? Lemme remedy that...

That was really fucking stupid.

An interesting interview. Thanks for positng it. They do have a kick ass ebay record which would contradict the many reports here about shody business practices...just a thought I had while reading.

I didn't care for what seemed to be a slam on shawn and this site.....Maybe he was talking about some other "huge" neo site that....

I would have liked to see some questions as to the "branding" of carts that seems to be biggest pain in the neo "collectors" ass. If they are just selling to gamers than who cares about some stamp, but by definition it would seem that a collector and stamping would not make any sense.

I've worked at a couple of comic stores over the years and never did anyone see any extra value from a store stamp on a cover of a collectable comic.....

Interesting, yes. My transaction with NGF was the fastest, as well as the most well-priced.

No one slammed Shawn in that interview, in any way. NGF requested professionalism, which means we wouldn't print such a thing.

As for the insert issue, they've covered that on their websites very well - I suggest you look there. We're not digging that issue up, again.

Thanks for ALL of your feedback.

Just embarassing yes.Mainly because the two words are following each other, and that's like saying:

"I have a house in New York, and another in NYC.
but I wish I'd live in L.A, or even Los Angeles."

:)

Professionalism???,
and they did SLAM Shawn,
They talked about Shawn indirectly , Saying he Lied about a make believe deal, and Shawn stooping to Low Level. They would just laugh at Shawn.

That black book page is not there anymore, but its Shawn talking about How NGF Screwed him on a HUGE deal
