A word of caution to those of you thinking about buying MVS carts from aslan11. I have not heard back from this normally reliable seller after paying for my Blazing Star. I tried reaching him through the telephone number and I could not leave a message due to his voicemail being full. I would not order anything from this guy for the time being.

Patience, Aslan is a reputable seller. I bought my blazing star from him. Just sit tight. You'll get your stuff.

He never contacted me either after I bought a ZedBlade off him recently. He also did not leave me any feedback on ebay.
However, I did recieve my MVS cart quickly. So hopefully you will to.

He will send your stuff out without telling you he sent it....I don't mind buying from him...but He doesn't like to leave feedback for some strange reason......I emailed him like 5 or 6 times and he FINALLY left me feedback for 1 of the 3 MVS games I bought....Zed Blade is fun isn't it?!!

it took a MONTH for him to get Metal Slug X to me.. (ok, maybe it was 3 weeks + a few days.. but, still!)

he's always come through for me, (3 times..)so i wouldn't worry too much about it... yet..

Well, it has been two weeks since the auction closed. That is not the thing that is bothering me though. I sent him an email asking for the tracking info and he has not responded. I find that a little troubling. I also find it strange that his voicemail is so full of messages that it wont let you record anything else. Looks vaguely suspicious like he skipped town or something.

There may be a legitimate reason for all this and he will probably come through in the end but it just irritates me that I have to wait for him to pull his act together.

It is pretty ridiculous trying to get a hold of him. I live nearby and actually bought my 4 slot dedicated neo from him. He is a nice guy, but his communication skills are pathetic. Beware of buying new carts from him. I'm not the one to bad mouth anyone, but he usually dosen't have those in stock....

It took him 45 days to send Metal Slug to me. He's not the fastest but, you'll get your game.

I left this guy a voicemail about a metal slug MVS cart. I needed his word that it was authentic (for conversion purposes). He never got back to me. He only emailed me to tell me that he had it in stock, with no mention of it's authenticity. I'd be wary about someone like that.

I'll never do business with him again. I bought Metal Slug X and Strikers 1945 Plus from him around the same time as I bought Mark of the Wolves. Well, the MOTW ended up being a bootleg and he would never replace it. He NEVER responded to any e-mails, and if I called he'd tell me that he was working on getting me a replacement. This went on for months. I finally gave up and got another one. I paid a high price for the game I got from him too, since it was some time ago. Never again... I know some people had success with him, but I'd warn folks to stay away.

Hmm You too? Over all, he is a decent guy. I have probably dealt at least 4-5 times w/ him. In one of the multi game deal, he sent me a defective game (Kizuna), and I sent the item to be replaced. It went very well, and he even sent me a handwritten greetings card as well--that's class.

Yeah, He is pretty poor at keeping contact with you on important maters. I got my stuff from him, but it was about a month because he didn't actually have the carts in stock. It's ben about two months now, and he still has not left feeback for me either!

He's OK, but not great.

I actually avoid buying from aslan, but he usually has great deals on hard to find carts. See, I have had a few bad run-ins with him, but I must say, in his defense, he has always made good when I was not happy with a deal. So, overall I am not disatisfied with him... but like I said, I usually try to avoid his auctions. By the way, is it just me or does he have some of the dirtiest carts. Maybe everyone else cleans theirs, but every time I get an aslan package I have to pull out the art gum, take the carts apart, and scrub the corrusion and dirt off... oh well, atleast they clean up nice.

Hi Rich here, AKA aslan11. I think pretty much everything said here is basically true. I do drop behind in my emails. I am usually quick at shipping but have fallen apart the last two or three months. I have never cheated anyone at all in any way on ebay or otherwise. I always back my warranty as well even when people are mean or impatient. Some of my carts are in rough shape but many are like new. I am bad about leaving feedback and will change that. I want to thank all of those who have said kind things in my defense and apologize to anyone I have inconvenienced in any way. I am more behind on my shipping right at the moment than ever but will catch up shortly and I promise to improve.

I agree Rich, that took guts. I am happy you took the time to respond on this board, not many sellers would care. My only recomendation to you would be to describe the condition a little better on your auctions. To elaborate I am sure you remember my problem with the 6 slot board, which you promptly fixed for me, but also there was a Captain Tomaday cart I bought from you for more money then what it was elsewhere just because you said it was "New". The condition was not new however and the cart had a few scuffs and chips on it. I did not really care too much cause it was still a cheap cart, but I was a little miffed. It was because of this and the 6 slot I got from you that I started avoiding your auctions... however, my last purchase from you went very smooth and I was very happy with all three games. As a buyer, I am impressed by this post, and I look forward to continued business with you in the future...

I'd also like to thank you for posting (and whoever told you about this place),

I've had no problems with our eBay transactions, and its good to see you care enough to post a response (and take responsibility!).

What a healthy change of pace from some sellers...

Why, whatever could you mean, Bobak!? The Neo Geo scene has naught but the most kind, caring, and reputable members within its ranks.

I dont like it at all passing off fake carts cant ever talk or get a hole him and it seems like every one must return items to get the one that works. My other sellers get it right the first time not the third of fourth. And I have my own arcade and I dont have the time to let $500 dollars of my money being spent in going back and forth in the mail.I need that damn shit in the store so my neo players can enjoy. And if you dont know or try to know about the products you are selling dont sell it. Because if you admit you know nothing about it and just sell it then You would not Know fake from real. keep the bath room clean.
