Well, actually Cancun is about 2 hours by plane from Mexico City where the event will be held,once there you can take a taxi for a 20 minutes drive from airport to the convention center that is near downtown, the event is free, but people start line around 5 or 6 am to enter around 10 am.
About spanish is not to worry so much, in cancun almost everyone speak english, and for Mexico is almost the same, just write the adreess and you can get there.

I don't know if we could get a gathering as good as their's from last year was.
