My hands hurt just thinking about using the Chex Box controller to play CVS2...that may be worse than trying to do it with the D-pad on the Gamecube.
I still say the Dreamcast version kicks the most ass.

I agree. I would buy it no questions asked if they just add something new. How about some new character's that everyone want's to see like Robert or Andy. The Xbox has a harddrive. Maybe add something for people that will get Xbox live so you could download new backgrounds or characters.
Or hell, how about a custome soundtrack feature??

The Reflect Fighting Stick! you can change the knobs! and its a good price for it!!

To each his own I guess. The only Reflex that thing would give me is the one that causes Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

I am reminded of that horrible cockeyed stick that was relesed for the SNES and Genesis, oh yeah and that ingenous pad that killed your thumbs for the SNES and 3D0 when Super and Super turbo came out. Yeah, a new stick by capcom is just gonna rock... As far as the game goes...Maybe if they actual made the characters as high res as the BGs and tweeked some of the characters so they were not as cheep (i.e. sagat's low fierce punch) I MIGHT be excited, but still no reason for me to get an x-box to play a game that everybody has already played to death. Wooohoo, so I can play somebody in california, still the samn damn stale game. If some new characters were introduced (like stated earlyer) or some new bgs or actualy made use of the X-Box arcitecture...wait, that wont happen so no use going there. On the positive side, maybe I'll get some mainstream X-box gamers to like 2D and get into SNK.

Online CvS2 would have me more excited if the game wasn't such an iffy, flawed beast. It's leagues above CvS1 but it still needs food, badly. How about an online collection, featuring the likes of SF Alpha 2, 3, Super Turbo, and Third Strike? THAT would be the fuckin' bomb-diggety.

Did anyone see that this is the "EO" version? That sucks. I mean, the special move techniques are half the game. I like CVS2, but the "Easy Operation" (Not "Extreme Offense" or whatever) cheapens the gameplay to the point where it is less than fun. Plus, how many people that actually will buy this game own an Xbox? Last I checked, (and I know I'm risking flames by saying this) the Xbox wasn't the console of choice for hardcore gamers. How many 2D games does that make for the system? Two. Both by Capcom. I'm not sure this is a brilliant move...

The EO option is selectable if it makes any diffirence...
If you don't like it, don't use it.
