The game looks very nice if you ask me, and from the videos they show it looks pretty apparent the game is sticking to a 3d style of gameplay

Can you download the vids and send em to me? I'll host them for a while as not all of us have memberships..
Quote from gamespot.com Capcom Fighting All-Stars Preview...
"The new characters have a different feel to them that makes the game feel quite a bit like the Street Fighter EX series."<hr></blockquote>
Let's just hope the gameplay and mechanics of Capcom Fighting All-Stars aren't like the EX series. =\

Dude, whatever. I don't have any personal beef with you, but you DO play fighting games with a DC pad of all things, so obviously playing these games at a high level of skill is something that ISN'T important to you. I enjoy plenty of modern games (Halo, VF4) so your attempt to paint me as some kind of jaded hater of all things new is without merit. Try again kiddo.
Any fighting game fan worth his salt knows and understands why Street Fighter should remain a 2D affair. In 3D, Soul Calibur and VF are the only games that have gotten fighting right.
Nothing personal.

lol. Oh no, being judged as 'not a real fighting game fan' by an overweight internet stud on a message board. whats next? losing to Mr Acne King on a counterstrike server? That'll complete my internet experience. "Dude whatever." I wasn't trying to 'paint' you as anything. I was just making a joke...if you're taking this much offense to it, grow up.
Anyways, Ryo:
I agree, this looks to have solved a lot of SFex3's playability problems...the main one being speed [read: slow], and the graphics look much much prettier, but it does look the same. Especially Ryu's fireball speed.
peace!

Thank you very much this is also how I feel; it all comes down to personal opinion, and this site is full of unintelligent fanboys who are stuck in 1993. That's not everyone mind you, that's not even you loopz; in fact, this is one of the most intelligent forums i've ever posted on. But there's a stigma that comes with loving a system and old games, and it rears its ugly head once in a while on these forums in the form of ignorance, or a "better-than-you" attitude.
