Well I finally got back late this morning and and home and relaxing after a long 3 days of utter fun. Overall I met a lot of interesting people and made some new friends. I had brought my Neo with me with a good selection of titles.

KoF 94 thru 2K, Metal Slug X & 3, Magical Drop III, Pulstar & Blazing Star, RBS , RB2, and Last Blade 1 & 2.

Overall the game room was decent and a lot better than last year. A bit warm in there but it was doable. I had apparently made a good impression last year becuase i was made Staff for the Kon. I met Big Bruno and I had a chance to converse with him a lot for awhile. Weather he says it or not, He's a real good MDIII player

Met NickTheFury and even tho he didn't stay long we had a good conversation.

Also ran into Kamui but that's no biggie seeing as we both live in the same town.

Met Daigo who shows promise in playing garou even tho he lost most of his matches. I didn't get any real chance to take any pictures but, I'm guessing someone else who was there got some.

Met another gentleman also who owned a Neo. He doesn't come here but we talked and he said he didn't really concentrate on it much becuase he had few titles which is understandable. He's a big shooter fan so me and him hooked up Blazing Star and went for some 2 player Co-Op action. He was having a great time and I really got a laugh out of him saying 'Ok this shit is awesome. Fuck 3D!!'

Overall the Kon was passable this year and things went well. I will be back next year and I MIGHT goto Otakon seeing as I've been offered a Staff position for the game room there also. The guy who runs the GameRoom at Otakon doesn't post here either but owns a Neo 4 Slot Japanese cabinet with Garou, Samurai Shodown II & IV and one other title I forget.

So if you guys are considering going next year look out for me as the guy with the 'Neo' again and I'll try to be around. Also in another post on this forum someone mentioned that the Neo wouldn't be at A-Kon this year. So it is with great pleasure that I say...NYAH NYAH NYAH!! I TOLD YA SO!!!

Heh, no mention of me? Good. I am sorry to everyone for not really formally introducing myself, but I was the Asian kid running aroud trying to play every game. I mainly played MD3 and KoF2k on the Neo however. Also if you participated in the Capcom vs. SNK tourney, I was the man running the tournament, and also the person who won it. Coincidence? I think not. jk jk no really I didn't do anything to setup myself with a win at all. It was a good tourney and IMHO the best one run. I think the gameroom was well kept and run accordingly but the major flaw was the lack of import titles being shown, other then GGX and whatever was on the Neo there were no other import titles. It's ok though no biggie.

Props to all the SA people who showed up and those few Austin people. Dallas Crew was repping with mad skills on the Capcom games and I tried my best to get some good games on the Neo. But until next year folks, or whenever you guys come back into town. Drop me a line and we will hit up the arcades or someones house.

Ciao for now! and remember, when you go against me you better have some skillz to pay them billz. LoL! baibai!

Hey BonusKun I didnt know that was you who ran the NeoGeo. Im the guy that came in second in the Magical Drop tourney. You also obliterated my ass in Mark of the Wolves with Gato. A-Kon was great and i seems like ever year Neo-Geos inluence grows. SNK 4 life!

Hey I had a great time overall. I think it went really well with the Neo and I was happy that a lot of people had fun with it. This is the 2nd year in a row I've brought the system and the 2nd year in a row it was played by people a LOT. Sorry about the Gato mess I used on you. I was trying to hold back on some of the nwer players by showing them ways to do combos and cross ups so I had more fun doing that than kicking ass. I'll be back at Akon next year I'm sure and I have a feeling that a whole LOT of you will be gunning for my azz to take me down. All I can say to that is that I look foward to it.
