Samurai Shodown Figures are out!

I went to the store today with some friends and lo-and-behold, they had the complete Samurai Shodown 64 figure series which consists of Haohmaru, Hanzo, Nakoruru, and some chick from SS64 I don't recognize -hence did not buy <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

(as you can guess, I was only interested in the original characters (what I would've given for Charolette or Genan, ah well).

The figures are incredible, they are to scale (unlike the CvS keychains), have excellent detail like a McFarlane figures, and have alternative pieces (like Hanzo's maskless face, Haohmaru's hand holding sake, etc. I'll try and take pictures as soon as I get a chance. They look great on my shelf (yes, I opened them) with the CvS keychain figures.

This is the same store I spotted the keychains at... Has anyone else seen these around the country? They should be hitting the hipper toy stores by now.

That's a good deal. The retail from 10-12, usually hitting the $12 mark.

Actually I announced some time ago in this fourm that they where out! Yeah, they ae very nice! I got mine about a month ago, and yes, I did open and display mine!

Those look sweet. I'm definetly getting Haomaru and Hanzo, I'm not sure about the other 2.

Hanzo is definitely the best figure, with Haohmaru right behind him. Nakoruru's detail is nice, but I've never really liked the character design all that much so I only bought her for completeness' sake. And Shiki's figure...eh. The face doesn't look 'anime' enough for my tastes. The facial expression is just bland and has an undefined detail to it, and doesn't really capture that sense of ennui that Shiki is known for. The rest of the figure is fine, though. And I don't know about anybody else, but my Shiki figure doesn't hold her weapons very well...

I am still waiting for mine to come in the mail, hopefully they will be here today or tomorrow. I can't wait to see them.
