And a well known member from this board bought the Zupapa, and I don't know who got the ShockTroopers.

Since I had ST1 and Zupapa on MVS I decided to pass and let someone else have them.

Great deals. Wonder who traded them in?

Strange that they should have Ganryu for $200 though, when those other conversions were so cheap.

I just got off the phone with them and its confirmed that it is an !arcade! version!

Sweet!

And ORPHEUS was on the phone with me when he called and can verify that this deal is real.

Tonk you should post it on the DHP, you know to show how NGF releases hold up in value so well.

*Just thought it may be some fun shit to rub their noses in... :D

I have no clue why it was so cheap....

Those are freakin insane deals, especially since !Arcade! no longer does individual conversions for the completed runs. Good deals do happen, you just constantly have to be online and searching to get to them ;) Good job Mikey!

I wouldn't say I'm a well-known member; I'm rather quiet (never have time to really write stuff). I probably read this post right after it was put up, so I hopped on their site and brought up their chat window to talk to a salesperson IMMEDIATELY. Asked them to put the games on hold for the 5 minutes I needed to get the order placed, and in no time it was a done deal.

I guess these are good deals (for converted carts they are), but I sure wouldn't want to spend more than $80 on a used Zupapa (I already have a MVS kit I bought new from Trieu a few months back). It would be really hard for me to spend more than $100 on the ST AES since the MVS can be had for $60 to $80. Besides that, I also have a slight issue about getting 100% authentic games rather than conversions. [5 second pause] Oh well, I'm over that now. Time to start the next chapter in Neo acquisitions. First AES, then CD, then MVS, and now converted carts.

Knowing this was a decent deal makes up a little bit for the time in May when I missed out on buying 14 AES games (one was the cart only, one was missing the manual) at the rate of ... $20 each (including SS1, SS2, KOF '94, Spinmaster).

yeah, I was on the phone when it all went down. weeping openly like A little bitch as well.
my day was going pretty shitty but this occurence just completely ruined it for me.
at least some one who can apreciate the games gets to enjoy them.
back to my crying now....

Rest assured, I'll appreciate them. Especially the Shock Troopers since that's supposed to be an !Arcade! product. Now, the Zupapa, we'll see about that one. This will be my first NG...well, we know who made that one. If I'm not overly impressed with the product as a whole, I might have to part with that one (I do have the MVS). However, I'm going keep an open mind about it. It would definitely be a unique piece in my game collection.

I emailed the site where you guys got those great deals asking if they were getting anything else like that, and they said doubtful, the only reason they put them up for sale that cheap, they said, was to regain more attention and interest in their Neo Geo stock. I'd say they pretty well accomplished that goal. Just wished I could have snatched up a deal like that. Oh well, congrats to you two guys for getting them.
