How is Nazca related to SNK?

Nazca was the original 3rd party developer of Metal Slug. SNK hired them to work for them, most likely due to the quality of their work. the Metal Slug games that came after the original were done by the Nazca team, but they no longer put Nazca, since they were part of the SNK team. Blah. that's about it.
