"I am not sure what happened, but when I pruned the posts by user for the babies that spammed up the board I lost tons of our good messages. It seems to be a bug with UBB. Its a real shame that we lost a lot of good information that helped the real fans of the Neo. Oh well, what can you do. We can just continue our on-topic information exchange. Ummm, bug with UBB? Sounds like Administrator laziness to me. Instead of cleaning up the individual threads, they just nuked them most likely. And, yes, I think I am qualified to comment.

It takes alot more time to clean up a thread, while it is simple to just nuke the entire thread with a click. Saying there is a bug in UBB is just a cop out excuse, they are truth impaired it seems.

Besides, we would have seen this 'bug' here already, we have done cleanup a couple times, and this BBS is 10 times larger currently! <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

I'm sorry I get a kick out of reading NGF forums. They are full of sooooo much bull shit I can't help but laugh. EVERY post is sucking Dion and Chris's cack....makes me think they are making false names to write the posts. I was reading about the "most prized neo possession" or something like that and every game people listed they coincidentally bought from NGF. Imagine that, what a small fucking world. Everything I needed to know about them was summed up when they deleted my account after my first post. I guess talking about their business practices in not "on-topic." At least here when people bitch about Shawn he takes it like a man and responds. Good job everyone on spamming the site. NGF has a ton of games on e-bay right now. You all should do your thing and let the buyers know they are not getting an original cart before Dion makes it a private auction. Also, I'd like to know how Dion will justify selling his $1400 strikers home cart when arcades $400 come out. Adios amigos. Dont forget about the e-bay auction.

NGFs bbs probly had 75% fake names that dion and chris made up to make it seem like people were visiting their site. I know dion and chris read these forum religiously, so I wanna say this, you 2 are LAME, I hope you get your asses spammed every month until you close down.

I think the most funny, and telling thing about the NGF forums is this: shortly after they put the board up, they CLOSED it so that only registered members could even VIEW it!! Usually boards are open for viewing by ANYONE, and you just need to register to POST. But NGF was too afraid to be open about everything, obviously. The thing I always thought was funny, is how half-assed their websites always are. Their first site never completely worked. And so now they open a new one where about two of the links work. Apparently they don't keep up with current standards either. At present, web monitor resolution standard is at 800X600. Their site is designed strictly for 1024 X 768 Anything lower and it won't display properly. A shaved ape could come up with a better, more compatible site than that.

Accually 800x600 is the standard size, 1024 is going smaller. In site design its much better to design for 800x600, since it will work in 1024 and up as well, but making one in 1024 will make it much to large for 800x600 screens. Just as ngfusa.com looks in 800x600 <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Exactly Caris. I don't use 800X600, but the majority does. I can't remember the site, but there is one you can go to that lists all the current web standards. My point is, anything less than 1024X768 and the NGF site is un-viewable. If they truly are a business, they would design their site to be viewed cross-browser, cross-res, like this site.
