Many people have been watching the price of that one skyrocket. Who knows how authentic the cart is though being as though the seller couldn't even provide his own pic.

The high bidder has zero feedback though - how serious do you think they really are?

Heck, with no feedback, I'm surprised the seller even accepted their bid (especially on an item like this - I know I'd be suspicious).

As bizarre as this may sound, it makes *me* feel good. Why? Well, the most I've ever (and WILL ever) spent on a video game ($825 for a solid mint US AES Garou from here-I NEEDED IT, DAMMIT!:loco was still about $1000 cheaper than bloody Metal Slug (which is a great game btw, but no way in heck is it better than Garou IMO-or worth even $1000).

Sheesh...almost $2000. Even if I were a millionaire, that would make me think a bit. (well, maybe not )

I just don't get how the game could go that high without a real picture? Oh yeah....the bidders that had a bidding war are both new id's and zero feedback....we'll have to watch the auction so when there ever is feedback posted we'll see if it was real.

A bidding war between 2 zero feedback bidders? Forget it guys, that game is still in the hands of the seller, I`m pretty sure.

Pedu,

I bought it from here (Neo-store). The reason the price was so high was because the demand for the game was at its peak (roughly 4 months ago, I believe-this was when $650 for it used was considered a steal) and the game was in superb condition. I have absolutely NO regrets for buying it then, and I still don't. As a matter of fact, there was another US Garou being sold for $819 in slightly lesser condition here, and it sold within a week of my purchase.

I simply sold off some Neo games I felt I could live without and was left with only about $300 to come up with after that, so it wasn't much of a hit to the checkbook at all. Considering I originally bought the Neo to have a complete US AES run of the Fatal Fury series, I have no qualms about it.

Yea, some other thread I was on talked about this already. I forget where that thread was so oh well, let's start from scratch here.
This seller also happens to be selling Pulstar for a shit load of cash.

And guess what?
He is using one of Shawn's pictures there too.
Even worse though, he decided to take the Neo-Geo off of it and put his crap sig all over it.

Let's all cross our fingers and hope he gets hit by a car on the way to the bank!

I would love to have this game, but for that price? Would I buy Metal Slug 1 AES for almost 2k?

UPDATE
I found this juicy bit of info in the bid history.

CancelledGBP 1,200.00
Explanation:Zero feedback. My description asks for feedback bidders

And who won the auction? A zero feedback bidder!

Then I'll sell it and buy myself a tank!

I really hope this guy doesn't get paid the $1800 and he has to relist and sell it for less!

I say we snipe it for $400 if at all possible!
We'll just make everyone think that it is not the original version!

How ironic Anyways, he doesnt have any prove that he actually has the game. Ripping pics from shawn doesnt make him have the game

I think his feedback-only policy is going to come around and haunt him. It's not every day that someone offers you $1800 for a Neo game, even if that game IS a US AES Metal Slug. I'll be surprised if he manages to sell it for over $1400 to a bidder with more feedback, but it's his call...

I saw this and think it is a scam,I have seen a few of these english version aes metal slug games go for less than £200-$350 on ebay.co.uk in the last few months and a couple are on there now with nowhere near as much so why would someone bid on a game they could get much cheaper especially with some on a buy price,no game is worth that much,it would have been cheaper to buy a 4 slot arcade machine and a mvs metal slug which I have done pure madness!!!
