Someone had fun in paintshop, they took the Capcom VS. SNK 1 poster, put a gamecube box top over the pic, and a Capcom vs.SNK logo at the bottom with a fake 3.

That is TOTAL complete bullshit in the highest regard. Perhaps Capcom vs. SNK 2 is being released on the cube, however that hasn't been announced to my knowledge.

Let alone has capcom announced Capcom vs. SNK 3. But hey ive seen online stores STILL have a pic of the Castlevania Dreamcast game up, complete with price and "Pre order" BS.

But on the other hand...it does have the picture of the box... Perhaps it's just CvS2 except for the GameCube? All you need to do is change the name and the platform! Weeee!

There aint no way in hell it will make it to gamecube.
The 2D capabilities of the 64 were crap.
It could not produce a single solid sprite it had a shabby appeal in the 2D area, alot of 2D games were 2D and 3D, so I put my dollar that the NGC will not be able to produce good 2D capabilities. After the snes died nintendo's 2D side turned to shit, Killer Instinct GOLD anyone? LOL 2D ugliness in the flesh accompanied by 3D of course...

I'm still thinking that it is a rehash of an old CvsS game and that's they are just releasing it so they can get that series out on that system ASAP.

There are going to be a lot of people who never got a Dreamcast or a Playstation 2 but will get a Gamecube. That's a lot of potential players right there.

I saw online stores taking pre orders for Dreamcast Castlevania MONTHES after Konomi USA had said it was officially canceled!

These online stores had fake box pics and all! LOL, The pope could be taking pre orders for it, doesn't change the fact it doesn't exist!

Capcom vs. snk 2 hasn't even come out in US arcades yet... man, amazing how much people believe...

Umm hello capcoms first gamecube game is Resident Evil 0, it's the only one they've announced, you know, what a company does monthes before they release a game...

And in this day and age, does it really take that long to release the same game for multiple systems?

Didn't 3DO already prove that whoring a game with ports is the next generation of video gaming?

The first was bad enough, but CVSS3?

To me CVSS is not even as good as a well developed MUGEN.
I am a SNK fan, I also play the occasional capcom fighter so from both sides of the street I still think the CVSS series is crap.

The SNK characters only win fans over by appearance, but most play like shit.
IN CVSS2 could Haohmaru be more out of place and ugly?

i highly doubt if CVS3 is comin to gamecube.its not even announced and capcom's contract to make a game with snk had already expired.capcom and snk signed a contract to make 2 games each.

SNK:cardfighters clash and snk vs capcom on NGPC.

capcom:CVS1 and 2 on arcade.

they may renew the contract and make a new game...i dunno but CVS3 on NGC would be cool considering it already has so many AAA titles and the best E3 showing along with capcom's resident evil series exclusivity and RE4 on the cube.it will rock.

till now it may be a rumour or a prank.i will wait until it comes from capcom's mouth themselves...... <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">

I don't think the was wrong with any of the capablities. I just think they weren't used. The machine is and was totally capable of good 2D. There just weren't any good 2D games. There's a difference.

While yes I still have yet to see any proof of the GameCube release of anything titled Capvom vs SNK I can give you this little tidbit though: CvS3 for X-Box. Yep, they are also taking preorders for this one. I still think its B/S but I guess will time will tell...

I think a Capcom vs. SNK title for the Gamecube is highly likely. Capom has decided to fully back the gamecube (unlike the 64)
infact the word is that capcom plans to fully relese the entire Resident Evil series compleate with updated graphics on the gamecube.
