I know everything will be disclosed after meeting in NYC. But I still have several questions:

1) I have a hard time to follow Arcade's AES II and cart marketing plan. Who is he really focusing right now? Neo gamer? Non-Neo? Or both?

2) If mainly for non-Neo gamer, then his AES II price must be low coz more powerful PS2, Xbox, GameCube are either out there or upcoming soon. Most of their prices will be around $299. Keep in mind

3) If for Neo gamer also, higher price will not attract majority due to SuperGun, arcade cabinet and other ways to play MVS games.

4) Striker 1945 cart is $399. For Neo gamer, it's not that bad coz that's the price for SNK later games (still a little bit high coz it's not "official"). But to Non-Neo gamer, it's a joke. There are many good shooters out there on different platforms and they are better than Striker.
Even Saturn Radiant Silvergun ($170 at Ebay) is still cheaper and better choice than Striker ($399).

Just my two cents.........

You have to look at it this way....
If the price of the AES II is anywhere near the price of the original unit then it's HIGHLY likely history will repeat itself and I'll leave it at that.
I wish !ARCADE! GREAT SUCCESS and I applaud what they're doing.(I want one )

I don't think Arcade is gonna target the AES II on the non-neo gamer too much. I agree with you scope, not many people will pay hundreds of dollars for outdated technology and a few hundred per game. Besides, Sony has most of the gaming culture so brainwashed with this 3d bullshit that not many people could appreciate it. If Arcade really wanted to target them though, they should set a competitive price and really push mvs software.

everyones been screaming for games,games,games!!!
well from what i understand some excellent rare games are on the horizon,so support would be the best way to make all these dreams and requests a reality wouldnt it?
i think a $400.00 price range for a new unreleased cart is very decent price considering the process and the high quality art of the title's ..i mean who can say theyve seen anything better or priced lower for that matter?
not to mention the rare factor, mvs only.

and even if the new system is priced a bit higher i can guarentee it will be well worth every penny of it!
theres a lil more to it than just a neo-mvs black box.
for those who dont have a neo home or mvs looking to get into snk games it is a godsend, and for those who dont own a mvs or convertor its just as good...thats all i really have to say..

oh one more thing..
ngf start worrying!
