Hey Shawn, is there any chance of Mark of the Wolves being re-released?

Is it even a possibility?

DOn't know the answer to the first question (can't speak for Shawn), but the second one is a yes. After all, MS3 got re-released.

That said, I hope it is, because I'd like a little sanity to be introduced to the scene, price-wise ($500-900 is a bit much...)

Personally, I say this because I actually play the games. I mean, what kind of bs is that, people buying something they never intend to use so that it may be valuable someday.

This is the next game I want most after Metal Slug 3 (Which I purchased from NCS and did not weasel out even though I wanted the English version instead).

It would be great, but with the Dreamcast version out it seems unlikely... let's keep our fingers crossed though...

As much as I want a USA MOTW, I think its highly unlikley. Theres something that says to me "They put it on DC so they wont put in back on the A-E-fucking-S." It would be awsome though, a USA MOTW for $300? Suh-weet.

This has been brought up before, and in particular now I'm afraid it will never happen. The game is coming out on the DC later this month (JPN version) then in the U.S. shortly thereafter (thanks to Agetec). So it will be very common at $50, and should be a very high quality conversion (possibly better than the home cart). Given that, it will most likely never get a re-release.

More likely would be some games that never got a home cart release, like Shock Troopers. I would buy that game in a heartbeat, no questions asked. Others have mentioned Super Dodge Ball, same story there.

Time will tell . . . but if we support the releases that have been coming out, the future is bright.

Oh and on that point, have you made your Sengoku 3 preorder yet? WELL GET MOVING!!

Personally. SNK could have quite a money making idea on their hands. Re-release every home cart ever made, so all the sucker homecart collectors that have to own everything will buy them all. Hell re-release MS 3 again, how about re-release every home cart with like 5 different insert versions each, because you know people like Dion will buy them all.

Just a question, is there any problem with buying the actual first release? MOTWs isn't really a arare cart, I see it for sale tons, the price may be up there, but that isn't because of rarity, that's because some people wanna price jack the cart, then when others with the cart see that, they wanna do it too.

SNK should re-release Fatal Fury 1 at 268 bucks with a new insert, watch how many suckers would buy that.

I'm going to go out on a lim here and just assume that the only reason they re-released MS3 because it was the only recent AES title that didn't get an American release (other than shock troopers 2). MOTW and KOF 2K (kind of) both got an American release and both are already heading too the DC so there are really no reason for them to be re-released!

Hey:

While a AES rerelease of MOTW seems pretty unlikely, keep in mind that if the rumors about a sequel are true, you bet your ass we will see an English conversion for that.

Am I the only one who really, REALLY hopes SNK considers KIZUNA ENCOUNTER!?!?!?!?!?!?

Personally, I think SNK should rerelease every game that grabs an outrageous price among collectors, because anything over $300 is, lets be honest, ridiculous. Come on SNK, bring a little sanity to the scene.

SNK won't re-release Kizuna or MOTW, though I would deinately pre-order SNK made re-releases of both of them.

I would order both if re-released, and would also add Shock Troopers and Super Dodgeball to the list...

However, with the looming possibility of !Arcade's! AES2, if none of them are re-released, we can still play the MVS versions on our TV's!

Though re-releases would be great, I' really like to see SNK making some money off of NEW releases...I'm very grateful for Sengoku 3!

Don't count on SDB being released, as it was made by the now defunct Technos. Anyone know who owns their work now? They have some great stuff from yesteryear
