What are the next home carts being considered for the Neo?!

Any suggestions from anyone?

The future is looking very bright. SNK is active and the neo lives on. There are new titles in the works that would “wow” you. However, public release of specific titles & details of these titles are not permitted at this time. The possibility of these titles being released on home cartridge is high.

Glad to hear about the future possibilities for English carts, Shawn. Even without knowing all the details, its amazing to have ANY future titles to look forward to, after all these years!! Oh, the highest of hopes....

If I could have anything I want arise out of this molten pool of possibility, it would be the long-rumored SNK crafted version of Capcom VS SNK. (Or SNK VS CAPCOM, ha.) I'd never been much of a fan of the KOF series, having only seriously played '94. Then after throwing down a lot of CvS1, I got really interested in the characters and starting giving the old KOF's a try (via NeoRage, I know, blasphemy.) I discovered what absolutely ferocious, awesome, tight fighting games the old KOF's were (especially 96 and 98). The bad side of that was that I also realized how unbelievably shitty and unbalanced CvS1 was, especially with regard to the neutered SNK cast. My sincerest hope is that SNK will put out an MVS (and home cart!) version of Capcom VS SNK that proves ONCE AND FOR ALL who makes the greatest fighting games on the planet. <IMG SRC="smilies/cool.gif" border="0">

PS- Mike, I think your list is dead on, although for me, Baseball Stars 3 is WAY HIGHER on my list...I've been wanting that game for years!!!!!!

I'd like to see Ganryu and Nightmare in the Dark come to AES. I'd definately buy both.

My future AES rerelease wish list:

1. Kizuna Encounter--I'd damn near kill for this.
2. SNK vs. Capcom--If this is for real, its a shoo-in.
3. Mark of the Wolves 2--same as above.

I still can't believe that SNK is still supporting the Neo, they must be shitting themselves when they see the AES rereleases selling out and selling big!

I love the fact that all these great Neo games are coming out. I can remember this time last year when I thought the last home cart we would ever see would be KoF 2000. Here's my wish list:

1. Capcom Vs. SNK
2. Fatal Fury Special 2 (I know, fat chance, but it is a "wish" list)
3. Samurai Shodown 5
4. Magician Lord 2!!! (yeah, yeah same thing as FFS2) <IMG SRC="smilies/tongue.gif" border="0">

Wasnt Magician Lord 2 in the works but got canceled a while back?

I want to see the rumored '3 COUNT BOUT' part two surface!!

Yeah, I believe Magician Lord 2 was near completion but never finished. Alas, one of the most frustrating yet strangely enjoyable platformers of our time.

Well I could really care less about AES releases but if any of the following are to come out on MVS I'd find the cash to buy them in a second!

Like "Loopz" I have a similar story. I first found SNK in 1993, when I, like many others got hooked on fighting game through Street Fighter 2. Of course the machines were always packed and to kill time I tried out the fighting games on the NEO GEO, notably Fatal Fury 2, and World Heroes. The thing that really struck me about those games was how great the graphics and sound were, and how much better it was than SF2. The characters were all (for the most part) original and fresh, Terry, Andy and Joe were ass-kickers, Mai was a babe, and even Kim was original (except for one move). The true testiment of how great the Neo-Geo was, was "Art of Fighting". While plagued with control problems and two "star" characters who were rip-offs of two other "star" characters (we all know who), the games graphics and sound were just AMAZING, and the scaling effect was just beautiful. I was SALIVATING to buy a NEO-GEO, but like many others couldn't afford the high price.

Right before the King of Fighters series was introduced, I sort of fell away from video games altogether, but came back due to another Capcom great, STREET FIGHTER 3! Then found SNK again through CAPCOM VS. SNK.

Yes I loved the game when it first came out, the SNK characters (especially Kyo and Iori) I thought were incredible, very fresh. I got KOF Evolution, and KOF Dream Match 99, Last Blade 2 for DC, and KOF 96 and 97 and World Heroes Perfect for SATURN. I LOVED them. The gameplay was perfect, the characters balanced the controls tight and the fun-factor just AMAZING!!! SNK had only gotten BETTER!!!

Since then I've completed the collection also via Neo Rage (only because the old Neo games are so immpossible to find and still EXPENSIVE!) But any new product on DC, I will buy. The Japanese and American MOTW, and KOF 2000.

ANY NEW SNK PRODUCTS ARE A DREAM COME TRUE!
