To NGF:
In order to state your position as "only distributor" in US granted from SNK Japan, please publish an official announcement in all major videogame mags like Next Gen, EGM, Gamepro and others so that we, the Neo players, can "truely" believe that you are the one we can trust. I think it's the "best" X'mas gift to members in Neo Community and you guys can clear all the "unfolded" rumors.

I dont think Dion has THAT much crump. lol.
They should put an official add out tho. That way if snk sues them we know they ain't the dis. for the US, lol

I think if NGF is truely US distributor, then they must have money to promote their company and re-claim the SNK authority in US territory. Plus NGF website looks like a personal homepage and it makes me think if it's "truely" an official distributor. Have you ever seen any Videogame company website posting something like "we have plenty games in stock", "one of box is full of Metal Slug game cartridges"...stupid thing like that?
I think Sony of America suppose put pictures showing PS 2 in stock and saying "look, one of our crew is trying to open a box full of Playstation 2 consoles......"
Right?

Have you already forgotten what SNKUSA.com looked like? How they had the "WAR HOUSE" news section which was 100% wrong till the end? Go look at the exclusive SNK distributor for Neo print at www.applephotosys.com

I'm looking at Sega, Capcom, SNK Japan, Konami, Namco, Sony, Nintendo and other companies. If you are the official distributor at least you'll have enough money to build up a nice and professional website. Then you have to make an announcement on every magazine saying that you are the official US SNK distributor, right? I thought if you are in the videogame business then you'll have to do something official. How come other videogame stores like NCS, Buyrite, and other stores don't mention your name as the "official one"? Please explain. How come they claim that there is no US version of KOF2000 at the same time on each of their website? Why they have to warn gamers not to trust US version? I just don't get it.

Again, I will only believe NGF when I see them listed on Neogeo.co.jp as official SNK in the US representatives.

How many distributors do you guys know of that advertise directly to the retail market in magazines? None.

What I'm saying is I want to see any evidence in order to believe.
Look at TurboDirectZone, it's the company still selling PC Engine/Turbo games in both US and Canada. They used to publish ad on magazines and even sent out catalogs to gamers. They still have nice and wonderful services after NEC/TTI ceased the operation. I've never heard any complain from Turbo gamers......not like NGF.

Regarding TTI...they were/are an excellent service to the turbo community, but the TG-16 has/had a much larger market base than the Neo Geo. Posting an ad in a magazine (or lots of them) by a company that ONLY sells Neo Geo games would be a waste of money. Especially considering that Neo owners aready KNOW where to go for their games. Before I got into Neo Collecting about a year and a half ago, I thought that the system had been dead since about 1995. What a fine job SNK did of keeping u all informed.

What happened? A while ago, I remember The NGF being booed from every concievable direction, then they made some ego-stroking posts that had nothing to do with the subjects that were posted. Then they disappeared back into the obscurity from which they crawled forth into the world. THEN(I believe it was a week and a half or so ago), when the much, MUCH anticipated KoF2k was released, "they" came back out of "their" cave to publicize that "they" were, indeed, the official english version distributers. I'm not really sure how all of this came to be again, but it had been going on since I first joined this forum a month or so ago. How did it happen again(besides the fore-mentioned reason, if any)? At least it is partially amusing.
