My feeling about NGF

Well, with all this stories going on with NGF, I'd like to post my feeling as well as trying to regroup info..

Let's start with older NGF actions (before neo restock and kof2000 stories).

Well, I think everyone will agree with the FACT that NGF supplied FAKE materials over the neo community (converted carts, US versiosn of JAP only games)

Ok, that's the situation before recent stories.

Now, suddenly, NGF would have become an official distributor ? Come on, how are they going to make us believe THIS ???

Just saying "we are official" isn't enough for me, coming form a -so called- company like NGF, whith the past events we all know.

I'd need to see official documents/agreements from SNK to begin believing this...

Some will say that NO company would have to justify themselves whith this kind of documents. I'll reply NO company has a past as bad as NGF.

Now, beside all of this, my thought is that NGF have a really good contact/relationship with someone good placed into SNK.

Let me explain...

Firstly they got a good amount of the neo aes restock. They must had some really good argument to get all of this instead of NCS...

By the way, don't believe they got ALL the restock... Japan is "plenty" of new carts. For example, a NEW Shin Samurai Spirits costs a little less than 1000 yens (about $10) NGF ask for $100. They can keep it.

Secondly, assuming the kof2000 english cart isn't official (what I believe) they managed to get leaked materials from SNK (digital versions of insert/manual) to prepare the stuff some time before the JAP cart arrive.

In addition, NCS stated they weren't able to get wholesales price over kof2000, which had NGF (cheaper)

All these really strange elements let me believe someone is acting for NGF from inside SNK...

SNK is dead, so it must be a mess inside the company...

Hello all.

Someone is saying NGF has friends or contacts with SNK of Japan? Of course we do. We're their United States distributor.

And what about all the people that have called SNK-Japan? SNK-Japan already verified it with all of them. We at NGF didn't say who to ask for, we just said "call SNK to verify." This proves we WANT people to call to find out the truth. We are tired of the same 5 jealous people making upo these stories for no reason.

We at NGF have been telling everyone that we were always an official distributor, but some people didn't want to believe it. Now you can see we were telling the truth all along.

NCS original said they were offered English versions from their SNK distributors, and then their SNK distributors later canceled on them. Obviously it was because of the territory protection and because they would not be sold through a Japan distributor. We made sure of that ourselves. No longer will they or any other retailer be selling any new English NeoGeo AES titles. Unless they are bought through us at NGF-USA.

By the way, the only reason pushed by NGF for us to buy the game is : "We are sure the English version will soar up in price in the days to come."

Twenty years from now it might (big might) be worth something but still nothing to base your retirement plans on. Your English version however is completely and utterly worthless. I can say with the upmost confidence (and I know it to be fact in the case of MS3) it is not official. Nothing he (Dion aka NGF) has ever sold was official unless it was a used cart he had laying around and hadnt screwed with; He has claimed for years that everything he sold was official and that he had connections at SNK and it was always bullshit. People were told products were official and got garage made home carts of things like Super Dodgeball which at the time he claimed were official and we all know a home version was never released by SNK. He chopped up and MVS cart to create it. He claimed that MS3 was official and everyone should know that was Bullshit as well. As stated before he created English inserts with Photoshop by translating the Japanese and creating a new insert and manual. He has made these claims for years and never once did it prove to be true. LET ME SAY IT AGAIN "NEVER ONCE (thats not once) DID IT PROVE TO BE TRUE. So the carts that you bought arent worth shit. They are worth much less that our Japanese carts because someone took and official product and decided to fuck with it, make fake inserts and manuals and jack up the price. You might find some unknowledgeable and undiscriminating buyer to believe its real but as for the rest of us in the Neo community we all know its a fake. But hey enjoy it it is in Enlish. Oh, and Dion has come into discussion groups (disguised as some anonymous figure just like you frog) talking up NGF and how their wares were official. I am done talking about it in this thread.
