The first DD game for NEO sucked hardcore. But the new one looks like a winner. And I really dont think that Power Instinct was a very good game either. But then again I cant say much since Rage looks much better. I'll wait till I can actually play PI.

I remember playing a game called Power Instinct years ago, is this the sequel?

Can anyone point me to a site that has the *original* Power Instinct pic?

What hardware were the first Power Instinct games on??

I know they weren't MVS.

If I can recall seeing a Power Instinct 2 for PSX. Then this is Power Instinct 3. I saw pictures of PI2 in a magazine and someone here on the forums in unrelated showed the insert of PI2 with that busty chick on it. <img src="graemlins/smirk.gif" border="0" alt="[Smirk]" />

Power Instinct 1 and 2 were single arcade PCB's Power Instinct 3 AKA Groove On Fight Was On the ST-V Power Instinct 1 Came Out On The Snes Was A Very Average Fighter 2 Came Out On PSX And Was Superb With Fantastic Chracters And Super Moves and Brill Music The Only Bad Thing Was Loading In Rounds When Players Moprhed Into There Alter Ego's!! Number 3 Came Out On the Saturn Its A Pretty Good Port But Owning The ST-V One I Can Say Its Much Better On ST-V, Number 3 Was Abit More Serious And Was Tag With Some Out Rages Combo's And Tag Moves Of 25 Hits!! Very Very Cool Games IMO And I Can't Wait For The MVS Version!!!

There's also Power Instinct Legends. It's sort of a remix of 2 with tag teams.

I thought it was never released in America but someone in CA told me it was. The Japanese name is Gogettsuji Sidestory: Strongest Legend. I have the board but I haven't taken any pics of the game yet.

I have several issues concerning Power Instinct, but that's me.

1. The main motherboard looked like a cheap bootleg Street Fighter ripoff. I've seen a couple of those in my time. It was like Atlus decided to try theior hand at a slight reprogram.

2. Atlus sued SNK about the Neo Print photobooth. Course they didnt have the rights first, they stoile the idea, so there was a countersuit, I think. It was so friggin ridiculous at the time.

Let's just say that company leaves me with a BAAAAAAAAAD taste in my mouth, thanks.

But it was bad! The judge in power instinct looks like a ripoff of kuroko in Samurai Shodown and the beast woman looks like the one in Breakers.
