SNK Vs Capcom Announced in Japanese Arcade MacMagazine

I'm writing this as a short comment today, since I can't confirm any of this at the time being to write them as *News*.

I don't know what to make of today's update by respected Japanese arcade chain store site Challenger-AM. I can't claim any of their info to be true at the time being. Please take the notes below with caution.

1- Challenger-AM claims "Rage Of The Dragons" scheduled for release in May, to be a Double Dragon fighter game. This seems to be correct, as images in their site (magazine scans) depict the two main characters as "Billy" and "Jimmy". Check below for links.

2- Challenger-AM also claims two additional titles to be released on the NeoGeo in the future. The two titles are- "Shin Gouketsuji Ichizoku" (New Power Instinct), and "SNK vs Capcom".

3- Challenger-AM lists Rage of the Dragons, KOF2002, Shin Gouketsuji Ichizoku, and SNK vs Capcom, as all scheduled for release in May. (I have strong doubts about this, for logical reasons. Perhaps it was an editing error by Challenger-AM.)

I'm suspecting that the scan and other info by Challenger-AM are from Enterbrain Co's Arcadia magazine, so I'll try checking up on it as soon as possible. This is quite some crazy info, so wait up before popping the Champaign. -H. Moriarty

SNK vs. Capcom ahhh ... reminds me the pocket version (Match of the Millennium). This game is really kick ass!!

It's all about NEO GEO..does'nt matter who makes the games as long as they can make a lil $ and we can have a lil fun I'm "all for" any release...

first and only game we have seen is kof 2001

and hey,its not bad

but there's SOMETHING in it,
something that tells me things arent what they used to be.....

Looks good right? I'll probably end up playing a japanese version in Chinatown (NYC) soon. I'll let ya all know more. It seems that I'm almost always the first shmuck to try out a game.

The game was designed in Mexico huh? It will be cool to see what a Latin American country can do with a game. It seems almost everything is either from Japan, USA or the U.K.

Well, it is us that make these carts so expensive.
Todays tech should now be able to produce these new "neo geo" carts much cheaper than it cost back then, therefor, we pay the "OLD" price because were already used to it...And these new producing companies (all NEW names, or at least UNHEARD of)make me wonder how hard could it be to make an older style game, and reap the tremendous profits that even the biggest game makes today cannot( well at least per individual unit)...
Can you believe the outrage an Xbox or gamecube game with a sticker of 200+ would cause....

I could go on....but I'm sure it's all be said(or thought) b4

Rage of the Dragons looks promising, but until i hold a snk vs capcom cart in my hand i wont get my hopes up.
