Two games are in route to me through EMS, US Soccer Brawl and a US Super Spy and some bonus items. Not the originals I ordered, but we came to a quick agreement, and those games were chosen. To make sure nothing happens to the games enroute, I paid to get them shipped EMS ($2 came from NGF for the shipping).

Here is the tracking number:
EF049103368US

It was shipped Friday, but did not arrive this morning as expected, should be here tomorrow though (Why sucky mail service between Vegas and DC?)

Will update again once I get the carts and give them a test drive, which should be tomorrow!

To see NGF try to actually finish a deal is indeed a good thing. I am surprised they are even trying, good luck Keith.

There was a loss in the other package, but we waited to see if it would turn up. Since it didn't, Keith picked out some other cartridges of equal value as replacements.

We included many bonus items for all the troubles. We hope everything works out.

thanks again,

NGF

I wanna know what carts you originally ordered, and what carts you are settling for instead... I dunno why, I'm just curious.

Oh ok, I would have gotten a refund myself, instead of getting carts I didn't origionaly ask for.

It seems like a frequent event (if not the typical) that NGF doesn't give you the carts you originally order.

Why no refunds guys? If you are so worldly why the difficulty getting carts that people actually want?

Just thought I would let you know that I received my games on Sunday, 11:55AM, 5 minutes before the deadline!

I'm curious to know what the US Postal Service considers Las Vegas a 'boonies' town, I thought that was pretty funny!
smile.gif
They had to do second day delivery from Vegas to DC! Pretty sad!

Anyway, my original order was for Baseball Stars Pro and World Heroes 2.

I got Soccer Brawl and Super Spy in place of those games. Also included were about 10 arcade flyers {what is funny is I had 8 of them! No Neo flyers!
frown.gif
} and a shareware copy of Quake 1. All extra bonus stuff!

The condition of the carts....

Boxes were basically near mint. They looked brand new, but there was a little scoffing on the plastic front. Manuals were in minit condition, although 1 did not have a baggy. The carts themselves were in excellent condition, they both had minor scoffing, probably from testing.

The inserts were both NGF inserts. From afar they look fine, but close up they do not look so great.

Now, my opinion on this can be taken as a grain of salt because I am now comparing their prints to prints I have made (End of warning!).

Their inserts lack vibrant colors. This could be caused by the paper they used, since it seems flat. The thickness of the paper worries me because I believe over time the ink will crack along the folds causing permanent damage. The colors appear very dull.

Also, I can see the pixels from the print, the prints appear to be in a low resolution. Such pixels do not appear on the prints I have made!

Also, from the quality of the print, it appears that these were printed on an inkjet printer, maybe a HP, and not printed on a professional printer, or even a Xerox Fiery as I have used many times now.

So, my deal has now come to a close. NGF has also asked that I post some of my experience.

Anyway, they were very responsive to my emails, and the deal was settled quickly.

Although, this did not happen until the Attorney General's office from the state of MD contacted Dion directly.

NeoGeoFreak is glad everything turned out fine for you Keith. If it wasn't for the original package being lost and us having to wait the mandatory period from the post office to get some kind of result, you would have gotten your games much sooner. But at leasy you got the games you wanted and they arrived all in MINT condition, just as you stated.

But once again, thanks for the kind words and thanks for the business with NeoGeoFreak.

thanks again,

Survey says... *BZZZZZT* another strike!

Despite the quick service, Mouse STILL didn't get what he originally asked for, some of the materials he received were sub-standard, AND authorities had to be contacted before the items were actually sent out.

And you wonder why people say that NGF sucks... LOL!

Amazing how so many packages from NGF wind up "lost in the mail." I deal with the postal service constantly, and they have never, not once, lost anything I sent. I had a couple of items come back, due to bogus addresses, but that is it. They probably just use that excuse everytime someone wants a fake, converted cart that they do not happen to have on hand.

Wow, I sure hope this post does not get lost on the internet....

I will regret saying this BUT....

I have shipped literally 3000 packages over the last 2 years (coming up on 3) with the US Postal Service using Priority Mail, no damage, none lost.

Luck? I doubt it. The Postal Service, while sometimes slow, does do a good job delivery most stuff in a good condition. This is domestic service I am talking about though!

Need to ban the use of Razor Blades by customs though!

Including that first Genesis A/V cable that never turned up at my place?

I am giving them the benefit of the doubt. I figure it was the Canadian Postal Service that lost it.
wink.gif
I also had an item disappear in the U.K. It made it as far as their Customs, then disappeared from there. Being Christmas of last year, when PokeMon was still the hot item, I figured one of the customs blokes swiped it for his own kids.

I have a trouble with the french postal service for a moment. 4 Carts have gone missing. Cart's that belong'd to Adol
That feels very crappy. In eather case somebody took the games (somebody who knew what Neo is) or the package has fallen to some place in the big Postal system, where it will be staying for, like, the next 20 years...
