Just thought I would let you know that I received my games on Sunday, 11:55AM, 5 minutes before the deadline!
I'm curious to know what the US Postal Service considers Las Vegas a 'boonies' town, I thought that was pretty funny!
They had to do second day delivery from Vegas to DC! Pretty sad!
Anyway, my original order was for Baseball Stars Pro and World Heroes 2.
I got Soccer Brawl and Super Spy in place of those games. Also included were about 10 arcade flyers {what is funny is I had 8 of them! No Neo flyers!
} and a shareware copy of Quake 1. All extra bonus stuff!
The condition of the carts....
Boxes were basically near mint. They looked brand new, but there was a little scoffing on the plastic front. Manuals were in minit condition, although 1 did not have a baggy. The carts themselves were in excellent condition, they both had minor scoffing, probably from testing.
The inserts were both NGF inserts. From afar they look fine, but close up they do not look so great.
Now, my opinion on this can be taken as a grain of salt because I am now comparing their prints to prints I have made (End of warning!).
Their inserts lack vibrant colors. This could be caused by the paper they used, since it seems flat. The thickness of the paper worries me because I believe over time the ink will crack along the folds causing permanent damage. The colors appear very dull.
Also, I can see the pixels from the print, the prints appear to be in a low resolution. Such pixels do not appear on the prints I have made!
Also, from the quality of the print, it appears that these were printed on an inkjet printer, maybe a HP, and not printed on a professional printer, or even a Xerox Fiery as I have used many times now.
So, my deal has now come to a close. NGF has also asked that I post some of my experience.
Anyway, they were very responsive to my emails, and the deal was settled quickly.
Although, this did not happen until the Attorney General's office from the state of MD contacted Dion directly.
