Music:

Can we say, "Off the beaten path?" So far, I took a spin with the English version, and OUCH! Not my cup o' tea. Nowhere near the military marchin' goodness that is the Metal Slug 3 score, it reminds me more of a heavy-metal-rock-punk-whatever version of the Sega Saturn special ending theme, with that nasally-voiced lady croonin'.

Okay watched a little bit more; I like the log thing that’s all good, nice explosions.

NO WAY! You can play as the monkey!?!? SWEET!

Okay, no. Some type of robotic dog shit? No good in my book.

HAHA! MI2 style there for a second.

Okay tell you the truth I think it’s going to be pretty decent. Despite a few flaws I think the game will do quite nicely. I just miss that blue SNK logo.

Damn, this game looks seriously good. So many parts I love from the movie segment. Let's see...Fighting that airship looks pretty wicked. Now we get to drive that rocket-launching tank not to mention a side-car like thing and deadly forklift!!! Hey the infamous gun-totin' monkey from part 3 is now a playable character! Sweet!!! Also, did you notice that super soldier now goes through a terminator-like transformation? And there's rocket-yielding zombies! The action seems over-the-top while maintaining a tongue-in-cheek humor. Overall, the game looks to be yet another top rate installment with plenty of new little features to distinguish itself from the other chapters in the series. By the way, thanks for giving the link to metalslug4.com. It's a remarkably slick little website.

This sucks! For some reason my computer doesent like streaming video. It makes my computer run all slow. Every time i click on download it trys to stream it :( I cant see the movie!

Another cool little feature I noticed are the zombies. Now you can blow off body parts like their heads and they just keep right on comin'!

-the return of the machine gun guy (who turns into a zombie?! -I was wondering how they were going to top themselves for a fourth time)

Too much good stuff. I can't wait.

Wow - imo this looks VERY good so far.... I am totally impressed! Now i need to hope I can afford the MVS cart at some point in the near future ;)

I like the new music btw... different to the old games but VERY good. Suits Metal Slug a whole lot more than the music that was done for KOF 2001 suits King of Fighters.

Looks great :) I can't wait to try out the too new characters :)
And were those zombies in the movie? I thought they were robots. I was kind of getting the feeling that this game was going to have a robot angle.
And I hope the aliens aren't back too. Even thought hey made one hell of a final level in the third game :)

Did you notice that when the monkey is hanging from the rafters that he fires the weapon with his feet? It's little details like this that'll make it a classic.
