I'd like to see if we can have a thingamajiggy set up in Chinatown Fair, Chinatown, NYC, next to the rotten fish stank - home of the prize fighter chicken and That Mongolian Guy.

A micro tournement where the members of neo geo.com can participate for a cash prize. Admission is $5 - small price to pay. Winner take all.

It would be a 4 hour drive north for me, but it's practically the best arcade on the east coast for neo geo games, in a popular city that has a lot to offer. All it would take is for someone to coordinate it with That Mongolian Guy, and the Chinese Mafia.

Cappadona, sorry man OH is just too far for me :( . I was so excited when I read "Northeastern Meet" though. If only it was closer :( .

Way to hijack Cappadonna's thread, Wasabi. I'm up for a NYC meet, I love that arcade despite how freaking cramped it gets.

I would go to kahunavile, Cappadonna, but it's a bit far for me.

All you needed to say, via e-mail or a phone call was that you weren't coming. I hadn't really planned on finding out through Neo Z-24 that you weren't showing. It just woulda been nice to hear it from you personally.........

As for meeting you out somewhere or being a hero, Tonk, you REALLY frighten me! Intimidations don't work on me, so try another method.

KahunaVille is too expensive for my budget. I had wanted to eat there before with my fiance, but simply couldn't afford it.

Sometimes Tonk, people such as myself, put forth an effort to make everything work so that other people can enjoy themselves. I was pissed about you not even acknowledging whether you were coming or not in an e-mail or phone call. If it takes that much effort to do that, I just won't bother asking you next time. Sorry to be a dick like that........

I must apologize for going a bit overboard. I felt one way, you felt another way. Whenever I was putting the meet together, it wasn't overly complicated, it was just getting people to show up to it. I was really looking forward to meeting you and it kinda bummed me with no response or anything. But I still had a TON fun with RBM and Z24......

Anyhow, as much as I would like to come, I'm not sure if I can or not. With current job prospects nonexistent, my cash flow is kinda low as of now. (I guess I shouldn't have bought Twinkle Star Sprites...) If things should change by November, I may attend it. :)

Also, I'd take the Bud, but no burger. I haven't eaten meat since 1985...... :D

now I feel like shit for not making it too!! I *AM* really sorry about that by the way. I REALLY didn't want to miss it, it was out of my control.


Anyway, I would be up for a meet as long as it's not TOO far from my place. NYC or Kahuna ville would be great, and an OFFICIAL NEO tournament would be worth the travel. Now we just need to make sure everyone can make it.

I've made this offer in more than one thread, but if the middle of PA is better for this kinda thing, we can all get together here in State College. With a little warning I might even get PLAYLAND(our arcade) to set up the tournament. Otherwise we can play in my house, with my machines.

I think we were planning on the next meet to be at realbouts place. Then you post this out of the blue, thats what pissed Bill off(partially). I could take that twinkle star sprites off your hands if you want ;)

As far as I know, I think the next one is at RBM's place. Not sure when though. If it can't be done there or whatever, I can have it here again.

I was a little pissed, but I'm not gonna sweat it. If I can make Tonk's meet, I'll go. I haven't heard RBM's answer about this, so maybe he and I can meet up at my house, and then go from here......

You guys are still obsessed with TSS huh? Well, if it ends up missing, I'll know where to look..... ;)

Anyhow, to Z_24 and RBM, I just stopped at a greasy spoon just a stone's throw from my house and discovered there is an MVS Cab there. Aerofighters seems to be the only game in it. I wonder if it can be bought, the game or the Cab........????

Can anyone give me the skinny on this?

I tried to open the link, but anytime a site has music in the background it crashes my comp! :mad:

Anyway, depending on when it is I might be able to make it. I'd like to, as it's not too often I get to hook up with fellow Neo enthusiasts.

Also, there was a tentative plan to meet up at my place sometime in late October (which would be good becasue I have the last 2 to 3 weeks off for vacation! ;) ), but nothing had been finalized yet. If anyone's travelling some distance, we do have a spare bed (in the same room with my MVS cab! :D ), so I don't see a problem crashing for the night.

Anyway, if anyone could give me the lowdown on the meet posted in this thread I'd be most appreciative!
