About E3???

Just wanted a little info on E3. Where is it? When is it? How do you get tickets? How hard is it to get tickets? How much are tickets? I'm curious because someone said it's in LA, and i'm going to California later this year. Looks like i might have the opportunity to finally pick up a cabintet, since we don't see many here in New York.

Go to <a href="http://www.e3expo.com" target="_blank">www.e3expo.com</a> for more info. At this point, you'll likely have to pay for tickets (150-200). And remember, you must be able to prove some connection with the industry.

I don't think you can buy stuff at E3. It's just a show for the gaming industry to strut their stuff. There are certain events that you can get into for free (I think until mid-April) Like Nick said, you have to prove a connection. Working at Babbages or Funcoland would get you in, but just saying 'I love Videogames' will get you booted in a second. I would be going but I blew my money on a supergun. <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" /> Good luck getting a hotel room though.

Definately the most difficult part - at least if you want to be close to the convention center. Not cheap, either.

My friend went to last years E3 and he had a blast. He writes for his school paper so he gets in on a press pass for free. He's going to try to hook me up with a pass for this years E3 :D .

Just saw the E3 page and I guess only package five is for industry members. I guess if you just like videogames you can get in just paying the expensive ticket. I went to a fair like that over here in Brazil around 98 and had a blast ! But I got there for free of course. hehehe <img src="graemlins/smirk.gif" border="0" alt="[Smirk]" />

How much for ticket?

I can't go E3 because I live in Canada.

E3 mean 3 word Electronic Enterainment Expo
